In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can easily unlock two popular characters from the film Moana, namely, Moana and Maui. The initial stages of the game allow players to welcome these beloved characters by unlocking the Moana Realm, which is one of the three realms accessible to new players.

How to Start "A Feast Worthy of a Demigod"

To access the Moana Realm in the Dream Castle, players need to enter through the middle door. Choosing to unlock the Moana Realm first grants free entry. However, if players wish to explore the other two realms available, they will need to spend 3,000 Dreamlight for each realm. Now, let's delve into the steps to unlock the demigod Maui in this oh-so-humble Disney Dreamlight Valley journey.

How to Complete "A Feast Worthy of a Demigod"

Upon entering the Moana Realm, players will embark on a thrilling journey where they will have the opportunity to interact with the beloved characters of Moana and Maui. This exciting adventure unfolds through a captivating series of quests. To unlock Maui, players must successfully complete the final quest in the Moana Realm known as "A Feast Worthy of a Demigod." This quest becomes available only after accomplishing the quest titled "How Far You'll Go" for Moana. Upon completion of Moana's quest, she bids farewell to the realm and sets off to make her new home in Dreamlight Valley.

With Moana no longer around, Maui finds himself feeling bored in the absence of people who appreciate him. However, he remains doubtful whether Dreamlight Valley is impressive enough for a demigod of his caliber. He boldly states that the valley's worth should be evaluated based on the quality of its cuisine. In order to convince him that the food in the valley is exceptional, the player's task is to prepare three meals that have a minimum rating of three stars or higher.

Prepare Three 3-Star Meals

The player is allowed to prepare any appetizers, entrees, or desserts they desire for Maui, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of being of three-star quality. It is advisable to serve him three-star meals, as serving him four or five-star recipes does not offer any advantage and will only consume more ingredients.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, there are multiple three-star recipes that the player would have already learned. However, the easiest meal to make at this early stage in the game, before unlocking more biomes and obtaining a wider range of ingredients, is a Grilled Veggie Platter.

To prepare a Grilled Veggie Platter, players can visit a cooking station and combine any three vegetables in the pot. If Lettuce is used as one of the vegetables, it will instead create a Hearty Salad, which is also a suitable dish for Maui.

To acquire the vegetables needed for this recipe, players may need to obtain seeds from Goofy's Stall in Peaceful Meadow. Lettuce Seeds and Carrot Seeds are both available for purchase and can be used for Maui's meals. Simply dig a hole for each bag of seeds using the Royal Shovel, plant them, and ensure they are regularly watered with the Royal Watering Can until they have fully grown.

Return To Maui With The Meals

After completing the task of preparing the three meals for Maui, players are required to return to the Moana Realm and converse with Maui. He will agree to relocate to Dreamlight Valley, but only if players can find a suitable spot for his Peaceful Grotto. The grotto consists of a sizable cave located on its own island. Consequently, players must locate a substantial body of water, which can be accessed by entering the Dazzle Beach biome.

Unlock The Dazzle Beach Biome and Place Maui's Home

The Dazzle Beach biome can be unlocked in Disney Dreamlight Valley by spending 1,000 Dreamlight. Players can earn Dreamlight by completing various tasks and Dreamlight Duties in the game. Once the Dazzle Beach biome is unlocked, players can access the Furniture menu and find an icon of Maui. By clicking on the icon, they can place Maui's home in the nearby water. However, players will need to pay Scrooge McDuck 5,000 Star Coins to complete the construction of the home. Once the construction is finished, Maui will become one of the residents in Dreamlight Valley.
