Disney Dreamlight Valley fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of The Remembering update, which went live on June 7. With Pride Month coming to an end, fans are starting to question why they haven't received the promised Pride t-shirts. Leading up to the update, the developers teased new content and features, including the addition of Cinderella's Fairy Godmother as a resident, upgraded customization options for furniture, and the introduction of mannequins and umbrellas to enhance gameplay and immersion.
Following the release of Update 5, an official blog post detailed the numerous additions that were made to the game. Among these additions, it was mentioned that a collection of Pride t-shirts would be made available for free in the following week, allowing players to partake in Pride Month festivities within the valley. However, despite nearly two weeks passing since the announcement, there has been no mention of these shirts or any indication of when players can expect to acquire them on the official Disney Dreamlight Valley social media accounts.
This lack of communication has sparked concern among fans, leading to worries that the promised Pride t-shirts may not be released at all, similar to the previously promised Walt & Mickey Partners Statue in October. As Pride Month draws closer to its end, players of Disney Dreamlight Valley may not have the opportunity to utilize the in-game shirts before the conclusion of the month. Given that Pride Month spans the entirety of June, even if the t-shirts are eventually released, it would be disappointing to see them come out only in the latter half of the month.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has faced criticism from its own community in recent times due to a series of unfortunate incidents that have occurred since the release of The Remembering. The initial shock was felt by many players when the exorbitant price of the first Disney Dreamlight Valley Dream Bundle was revealed, particularly when taking into account the already high cost of Moonstones. As if that wasn't enough, fans soon discovered that completing a Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley has become a much more arduous and time-consuming task. Adding insult to injury, items that were meant to be distributed for free to commemorate a significant event have mysteriously disappeared, further aggravating the community. It is hoped that the Disney Dreamlight Valley Pride shirts will be included in the game sooner rather than later. Disney Dreamlight Valley is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
