How to unlock EVE in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To unlock EVE as a villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will need to have the A Rift in Time expansion and complete its opening quest.

Jafar will upgrade your pickaxe early in the game, enabling you to break small copper rocks. Afterwards, head back to the bridge near your initial arrival on Eternity Isle and break the rocks there before crossing over to find EVE on the other side. Talk to her and then return to Jafar. Upon returning to where you met EVE, enter her nearby house and clear out the debris on the ground until a piece of paper falls out. Read it to receive a memory, then go speak with Jafar again.

Head back to Scrooge McDuck's new shop and look for Jafar. He will instruct you to find a hidden area nearby. Once outside the shop, you'll come across a path blocked by small copper rocks. Break through them and enter the secret area.

Inside, you'll discover EVE's memory. Open the chest to obtain two blue bags. Open these from your inventory to acquire the Robot Costume and Robot Hat. Equip these items and then talk to EVE to receive a recipe book for making Best Fish Forever.

EVE's favorite meal

Collect these ingredients needed for EVE's favorite meal.

Celery - Purchase celery seeds from Goofy's Stall in The Docks, then plant and harvest them.

Cumin - White flower-looking herb located throughout The Docks.

Robot Fish - Fished up in golden ripples at The Docks.

Fisherman at The Docks reeled in a sea snail from the blue ripples of the ocean. Once you have gathered all the necessary ingredients, prepare a delicious Best Fish Forever meal and bring it back to EVE. Then, retrieve the Royal Hourglass located behind her and proceed to speak with Jafar at the broken bridge.

Finally, you can return to speak with EVE to start a new quest titled "Directive: Danger!" as part of which, you will be required to capture images of four specific locations near the dock. Fortunately, these locations are easily recognizable. The first location is the tree standing over the well.

Take a photo of any of the stone heads in the hallways leading to the broken bridge. After speaking to EVE again, you'll realize that you need to advance further in the main story before completing her quest. Proceed to fulfill Jafar's requests to repair the broken bridge, which may require some time. However, once it's fixed, you can then take photos of the designated subjects.

When returning to EVE a final time and exhausting her dialogue, you'll finally have her unlocked as a villager.
