How to unlock EVE in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To unlock EVE as a villager in your valley, you must own the A Rift in Time expansion and complete its opening quest.

Jafar will upgrade your pickaxe early on, enabling you to break small copper rocks. Go back to the bridge near your initial arrival on Eternity Isle and break the rocks there. Cross over to find EVE on the other side, speak to her, and then return to Jafar.

Return to the location where you met EVE and enter her nearby house. Clear all the debris on the ground until a piece of paper falls out. Read it to acquire a memory, then go and speak to Jafar again.

Proceed by following Jafar's instructions to locate a hidden area nearby. Return to Scrooge McDuck's new shop and look for a path that is obstructed by small copper rocks. Clear the path and enter the secret area.

Inside the secret area, you will discover EVE's memory. Unlock the chest to obtain two blue bags. Open the bags from your inventory to acquire the Robot Costume and Robot Hat. Equip these items and talk to EVE once more to obtain a recipe book for crafting Best Fish Forever.

EVE's favorite meal

Collect these ingredients needed for EVE's favorite meal.

Celery - Purchase celery seeds from Goofy's Stall in The Docks, then plant and harvest them.

Cumin - White flower-looking herb located throughout The Docks.

Robot Fish - Fished up in golden ripples at The Docks.

Sea Snail - Caught in the blue ripples at The Docks.

After gathering all these ingredients, prepare a Best Fish Forever meal and bring it back to EVE. Grab the Royal Hourglass behind her and go talk to Jafar at the broken bridge.

Finally, return to EVE and start a new quest titled "Directive: Danger!" as instructed. This quest requires you to photograph four specific locations around the dock, but luckily, they are all easily visible. Here are the locations you need to photograph:

1. The tree towering over the well.

The boat upon which you arrived to Eternity Isle

The sunken doorway between the two waterfalls by EVE's house

Any of the stone heads found in the corridors leading to the damaged bridge. When you speak with EVE once more, you'll discover that you must advance the main storyline further before completing her quest. Proceed and fulfill Jafar's tasks to repair the broken bridge, which will require some time. However, afterwards, you will have the opportunity to take photographs. The specific subjects you need to photograph are as follows:

Rapunzel

A boat in The Grove sitting atop a large rock

Any of the fly traps in the jungle areas

Gaston

A snake

The massive waterfall of sand on the eastern edge of The Plains

When returning to EVE a final time and exhausting her dialogue, you'll finally have her unlocked as a villager.

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z fan, I am thrilled about the arrival of EVE in Disney Dreamlight Valley. EVE is a beloved character from the movie WALL-E, and her addition to the game is sure to excite many fans. The process of unlocking EVE as a villager is a bit involved, but it is well worth it for the chance to have her in your valley.

I appreciate the attention to detail that the developers have put into EVE's character. Her dialogue is witty and charming, and her interactions with the other characters are fun to watch. I also love her unique design, which is a perfect blend of her WALL-E counterpart and the Disney Dreamlight Valley art style. Overall, I am very happy with the addition of EVE to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and I can't wait to see what other surprises the developers have in store for us in the future.
