Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have finally arrived after months of speculation and rumors. These ninth-generation Pokemon games bring significant changes to the series' familiar formula, particularly in regards to the Pokedex. Many players have been left wondering how many Pokemon are featured in Scarlet & Violet, as several Pokemon did not make the cut, as seen in the previous Gen 8 games.
Similar to the Galar Pokedex, the Paldea Pokedex currently includes 400 Pokemon. However, it is highly likely that this number will increase in the future through DLC updates, which are expected to introduce several hundred Pokemon from past generations over the next few months and years.
