Teresa Giudice‘s daughter Milania Giudice underwent a remarkable transformation in front of the cameras following the premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2009.

In a recent episode of her mom's podcast, "Namaste Bitches," 17-year-old Milania candidly discussed her previous weight loss journey, humorously referring to it as her "weird era" in middle school. She reflected on her past self, describing herself as being much heavier, comparing herself to a pumpkin. However, she eventually had a realization and felt suffocated by her own body.

The teenager approached her 51-year-old mother and asked for assistance in finding a nutritionist to work with. Her mother willingly helped her and together they created a meal plan consisting of three nutritious meals a day, unlike anything she had ever eaten before. In addition, she implemented a rigorous exercise routine into her daily schedule, beginning with a 30-minute workout before school and another session after school.

Milania claimed to have lost 50 pounds in just two months, but Teresa was doubtful. According to Milania, her weight had reached a peak of 150 pounds before dropping to 110 pounds. She described herself as being extremely thin like a stick, although she felt good at the time. However, she eventually gained the weight back.

When asked about the reason behind her weight loss, Milania mentioned that her mother would subtly hint at her size. She recalled her mother saying things like, "Oh, are you going to have another ice cream?" Despite this, Milania expressed her indifference towards her weight, stating that she would have another ice cream regardless of being fat or not.

Teresa emphasized that she has never attempted to pressure her daughter into losing weight or instill a negative body image. She expressed how she found her daughter utterly charming, acknowledging that she had a slightly fuller figure.

They would frequently make subtle teasing remarks towards her. However, Milania didn't let it bother her, considering it as just an insignificant matter. As she transitioned into middle school, she began feeling self-conscious about her body, as it didn't fit the conventional standards.

During the conversation, Teresa reinforced her admiration for her daughter's "beautiful hair" and other qualities, consistently affirming Milania's adorableness. Previously, Teresa had discussed Milania's growth and development while addressing their family's legal issues at BravoCon in November 2019. It is important to note that Joe Giudice, Teresa's ex-husband, is the father of their four daughters. In March 2019, Joe concluded his 41-month prison term for fraud and subsequently faced detention by ICE before being deported to Italy.

“It has been challenging. ... Due to our experiences, my daughters had to mature at a young age,” Teresa expressed during the panel. "Milania underwent therapy last year as she encountered difficulties at school. However, she has made remarkable progress since then, excelling academically and even shedding over 40 pounds."
