Dino-Survival: A Thrilling Combination of Alien Isolation and Jurassic Park Revealed

Jurassic Park: Survival is an intense first-person game set right after the iconic 1993 movie Brace yourself for heart-pounding encounters with relentless dinosaurs as you navigate a thrilling world of survival and cunning strategies

Saber Interactive announced at The Game Awards 2023 that Jurassic Park: Survival will transport players back to Isla Nublar. The first-person game closely follows the events of the original Steven Spielberg film. Check out the trailer below to see what's in store.

While the trailer only offers a glimpse of the gameplay, Saber has provided more in-depth details on the game's official website. Jurassic Park: Survival introduces a new protagonist, Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist who was employed at the original park established by John Hammond. Set in the aftermath of the 1993 Jurassic Park movie, the game features many of the film's recognizable locations and iconic dinosaurs.

The dinosaurs in the game are rumored to react to your actions, requiring players to use distractions and stealth to evade them. This is reminiscent of Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation, where players had to constantly avoid, rather than battle, the terrifying xenomorph from Ridley Scott's 1979 film.

Although there are some details available online, the release date for Jurassic Park: Survival has not been announced. However, it is confirmed to be coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. In the meantime, here's an ongoing list of The Game Awards 2023 winners.

As a hard fan of the Jurassic Park franchise, I am thrilled about the announcement of Jurassic Park: Survival. The game promises to combine the intense survival horror elements of Alien Isolation with the iconic dinosaurs of Jurassic Park, creating a truly unique and terrifying experience. The trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse of the game's stunning visuals and heart-pounding encounters with relentless dinosaurs, and I can't wait to see more gameplay footage in the future.

The game's setting, which closely follows the events of the original 1993 movie, is a major draw for me. I've always wanted to explore Isla Nublar and experience the park's attractions and dinosaurs up close, and now I'll finally have the chance to do so in a thrilling and immersive way. The inclusion of many of the film's recognizable locations and iconic dinosaurs is a great touch that will surely delight fans of the franchise.
