Denny's selects Mindshare and Finn Partners as new AORs

Denny's chooses Mindshare for audience and media strategy, and Finn Partners for effective public relations, solidifying their new AORs

Denny's has announced the appointment of two new agency partners this week. Finn Partners will be the brand's public relations and brand communications agency of record (AOR) and Mindshare will be its U.S. media AOR. Both partnerships began earlier this fall, with Finn assuming the role in August and Mindshare in October.

In celebration of its 70th year, the diner chain aims to attract new audiences while retaining its loyal fan base with the help of the new agencies. These agencies will be responsible for creative storytelling, photography, video activations, and other initiatives to enhance the brand's visibility.

Finn Partners, a full-service marketing and communications company, is responsible for enhancing Denny’s image and supporting various aspects of the brand including brand communications, corporate reputation, crisis management, diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, and executive visibility. They will operate from Denny's Chicago office. Meanwhile, Mindshare, a part of GroupM and WPP, will manage media and audience strategy, measurement, planning, investment, and analytics for Denny's from its Atlanta office.

This year, Denny's has undergone several changes, including appointing former CEC Entertainment CMO Sherri Landry as its new CMO and promoting John Dillon to president of the chain.
