A Reddit user named ZorkDaGod_YT, who is a fan of the popular visual novel series Danganronpa, has created a custom design for the Nintendo Switch based on the series. The design incorporates the color scheme of two well-known characters from the first and second games, with the Joy-Cons showcasing the logo of Hope's Peak Academy.

Players may notice a duality theme on both the Joy-Cons and the dock. On the dock, Monokuma, a robotic character controlled by the mastermind in each game, is prominently displayed. The design of Monokuma's eyes on the Nintendo Switch Dock represents this character. The rounded pupil on the left symbolizes HOPE, while the jagged pupil on the right symbolizes DESPAIR. This Yin/Yang motif emphasizes that these opposing forces are interconnected and necessary for each other's existence. Additionally, Monomi, who is considered Monokuma's "sister" in Danganronpa 2, is featured on the back of both Joy-Cons alongside Monokuma.
