In the FA Cup first round, Charlton Athletic, a team from League One, will welcome their neighbors, Cray Valley Paper Mills from the Isthmian League South East Division.
Kyrell Lisbie, who plays as a striker for the Millers, is following in the footsteps of his father, Kevin. Kevin spent 11 years at Charlton until 2007 and went on to play for the non-league club for four years until 2021.
A total of 80 clubs participated in this stage of the competition. This included the 32 winners from the fourth qualifying round, as well as all 48 clubs from Sky Bet League One and League Two.
Another interesting match-up will take place when Cambridge United hosts Bracknell Town from the Southern League Premier Division South. Bracknell Town secured their spot in the competition after a surprising 1-0 victory over National League side Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
Ramsgate, another team competing in the Isthmian League South East Division, will serve as the venue for the match between Hemel Hempstead Town or Woking. Meanwhile, Horsham, from the Isthmian League Premier Division, will face off against League One Barnsley at Oakwell. In a highly anticipated clash, Chesterfield, who currently lead the National League, will welcome the undefeated League One leaders, Portsmouth, to their home ground.
The first-round ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday November 4 and Sunday November 5.
