The Traitors fans were hoping for a romantic relationship between Chris “CT” Tamburello and Phaedra Parks, but according to CT, nothing romantic actually occurred between them.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published on Friday, March 8, CT, 43, shared that while he enjoyed Phaedra's fun and quirky personality, their connection was more about having fun and playing a game rather than a genuine romantic relationship.
CT, a veteran of the Challenge, participated in season 2 of The Traitors. During the filming in Scotland, he formed a close bond with Phaedra, who is 50 years old. Many fans and even other contestants noticed the strong connection between CT and Phaedra right away.
Former Bachelor Peter Weber, who was eliminated from the game recently, shared his thoughts on CT and Phaedra's relationship. He said, "I support them as a couple. They look really good together and have great chemistry. Only time will tell what the future holds for them."
CT didn't want to prioritize his friendship with the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum over the game. When he found out that Phaedra was a Traitor, he made the decision to vote her out of the castle.

"I have a lot of respect for her, so I don't want to pretend to be something I'm not just for a quick moment of fame," he shared with EW. "It wouldn't be fair, and it wouldn't be right. I mean, should I really move to Atlanta? That's just not something I can do."
CT's efforts in the game were rewarded when he, along with Trishelle Cannatella, emerged as the winners and decided to share the prize money.
On Friday, CT expressed his excitement about the game, saying, "It's a great game. It really pushes you to work smarter, not harder, which I found refreshing. It was more about strategy and politics, which made it enjoyable for me."
He continued, "It wasn’t just about who’s the fastest, strongest, or bravest. It wasn’t just about swimming deep, skydiving, or cliff jumping. It was different. What I liked about this game was the evolving strategy. It shifted from everyone scrambling for a shield to keeping it a secret once obtained. The players began sowing seeds of deception, with the faithful acting as traitors and traitors masquerading as faithful. Each banishment or murder altered the game's dynamics."
The Traitors season 2 and its postmortem cast reunion are now available for streaming on Peacock.
