Netflix's Single's Inferno Season 3 is heating up as contestants are quickly coupling up and indulging in the luxuries of Paradise. With a new group of contestants and updated rules, the popular Korean dating reality series promises even more drama, sparks, and jealousy than before.
Just like in the first season, 12 contestants will be seeking love on a deserted island. However, the rules dictate that the only way to discover intimate details about a potential match is by venturing to Paradise. This season, Paradise offers a new and enhanced experience for the couples on Single's Inferno Season 3.
As the dating series unfolds, some of the couples en route to Paradise have already captured the hearts of fans and may possibly be endgame. Spoiler alert!
Lee Jin-seok and An Min-young
Netflix
Unexpectedly, the first couples to go to Paradise were quickly decided on the deserted island. Min-young expressed her interest in Jin-seok upon their introduction, drawn to his masculine aura. After a simple lunch of carrots and canned chicken, the contestants were handed plane tickets. They were instructed to give their ticket to the person they wished to accompany to Paradise. Min-young received tickets from both Choi Min-woo and Jin-seok. Min-woo was interested in getting to know her because of her lively and open personality. When it was time to pick a partner, Min-young chose Jin-seok.
Choi Hye-seon and Lee Gwan-hee
Netflix
It came as no shock when Gwan-hee picked Hye-seon as his Paradise partner. Their mutual interest had been clear since they arrived on the island. Happily, Gwan-hee handed over his ticket to her, and Hye-seon didn't hesitate to give him hers.
This left only Kim Gyu-ri and Min-woo as unmatched couples. With Min-woo choosing Min-young, Gyu-ri ended up in Inferno with no partner. The hosts of Single's Inferno Season 3 even found the situation awkward, as Gyu-ri was rejected by Min-woo.
Yun Ha-jeong and Park Min-kyu
Netflix
Unbeknownst to the participants and fans of Single’s Inferno Season 3, there was a new twist in the rules. The latest season featured two separate groups of contestants on different islands, each undergoing the same voting process. On Island #2, five contestants were tasked with choosing couples for Paradise.
However, this group was immediately faced with drama, as contestant Yun Ha-jeong was acquaintances with fellow contestant Yi Si-eun. To add to the complexity, both women had a preference for the same type of men and had set their sights on Park Min-kyu. During the Paradise selection, both Ha-jeong and Si-eun chose Min-kyu. In the end, Min-kyu made the decisive choice to go to Paradise with Ha-jeong.
Kim Gyu-ri and Park Min-kyu
Despite complaining about his bitter carrots, Ha-jeong sparked a playful banter with Min-kyu during lunch and ended up giving him all the sweet carrots. As a result, Si-eun, Son Won-ik, and Yun Ha-bin found themselves alone on the island together.
Season 2 of Single’s Inferno brought a surprising twist to Paradise for the chosen couples. After being told one partner wouldn’t be leaving with them, Hye-seon left Gwan-hee to meet Min-kyu. It was then revealed that there were other contestants on a different island. In a swap, Min-kyu left with Hye-seon to her island, while Gwan-hee left with Ha-jeong to her island. This unexpected change led to sparks flying between Gyu-ri and Min-kyu, and it was evident to the hosts and fans that they were enamored with each other from the moment they met.
When the time came to select the next set of couples for Paradise, Gyu-ri, Hye-seon, Min-hyuk, Jin-seok, and Min-woo were faced with a decision. Ultimately, Gyu-ri chose newcomer Min-hyuk, stating that she found it easier to communicate with both Jin-seok and Min-hyuk, despite being grateful for Hye-seon's companionship. The remaining three contestants did not find a match for Paradise.
Yu Si-eun and Son Won-ik
Gwan-hee and Ha-jeong
Time spent on Inferno turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Si-eun and Won-ik. As they deliberated on the other island in Single’s Inferno Season 3, the two found themselves paired together after casting votes for each other.
Netflix
Viewers of Single’s Inferno Season 3 are eagerly watching Ha-jeong, wondering if her playful nature will lead to trouble or romance. During her time in Paradise, she initially paired up with Min-kyu, whom she considered to be very close to her ideal type.
Upon meeting Gwan-hee, she quickly changed her tune, declaring that he was her ideal type. She allowed her flirting skills to take the lead and even playfully teased Gwan-hee about going to Paradise with her within minutes of meeting him. Throughout their brief time on the island, they engaged in playful banter and flirtation.
Unsurprisingly, they were chosen as the next couple to go to Paradise together, leaving Min-young and Ha-bin alone on the island.

As a Gen Z netizen, I am excited about the new season of Single's Inferno. The show's concept of exploring the boundaries of paradise while testing connections between couples is intriguing and relatable. The unexpected twists and turns, such as the introduction of two separate groups of contestants on different islands, add an element of surprise and drama that keeps viewers engaged. The show's focus on genuine connections and the challenges of finding love in a competitive environment resonates with my generation's experiences and desires.
However, I also have some concerns about the show's portrayal of relationships and the pressure it puts on contestants to find a match. The emphasis on physical attraction and the limited time frame for forming connections can create an unrealistic expectation of love and relationships. Additionally, the show's editing and manipulation of footage can influence viewers' perceptions of the contestants and their interactions, which raises questions about the authenticity of the portrayed relationships. Despite these concerns, I believe Single's Inferno offers an entertaining and thought-provoking exploration of love, relationships, and the complexities of human emotions.
