Tom Brady faced some embarrassing moments during his Netflix roast, with jokes about his looks, career, and past relationships. Despite being a good sport about most of it, he drew the line when it came to jokes about Patriots owner Robert Kraft's controversial history.
Comedian Andrew Schulz shared on his podcast, "Flagrant," that he was told not to make jokes about happy endings involving Bob Kraft during a roast. This was because he had a specific joke about Kraft in his routine.
Bob Kraft, who is 82 years old, was reportedly filmed paying for sex at a massage parlor in Orlando in 2019. However, the charges against him were dropped after a Florida appeals court ruled that the surveillance footage could not be used as evidence in the trial.
Schulz, who is 40 years old, shared his idea to joke about Kraft during the live special on Sunday, May 5. However, he mentioned that Netflix rejected the idea. According to Schulz, they told him, "Tom requested that we avoid any jokes about the massage incident."

Schulz understood, especially given the fact that Kraft wasn’t sitting on stage with the rest of the roast participants.
Schulz said he was thinking, "Okay, the guy is coming here for this event. Whatever. He's not getting roasted; he's just sitting in the stands."
That's why Schulz is convinced that Brady approached Jeff Ross after he made a joke about Kraft. "I truly believe that was completely genuine," the comedian added.
Ross, 58, made a massage reference during his set, which caused Brady to get out of his seat and tell Ross, “Don’t say that s–t again.”

Schulz explained that this is the first comic to kick off the live roast, making it your night. He shared that the comic was prepared to end the show entirely, which he described as a bold move.
Comedians were told not to joke about Brady's kids, according to Schulz. However, Moynahan and Bündchen, Brady's ex-girlfriend and ex-wife, were fair game for jokes during the event.
Brady reached out to Bündchen on Wednesday, May 8, to apologize for his actions. According to a source, Gisele and Tom had a rule of not saying anything negative about each other or their relationship. The source mentioned that Gisele was hurt and upset by the remarks made at the roast.
Bündchen was upset by the jokes about her relationship with boyfriend Joaquim Valentine, especially the insinuation that they had an affair while she was married to Brady.

Editor's P/S:
Tom Brady's Netflix roast provided a hilarious and revealing glimpse into his life and career. While he showed good sportsmanship by handling most jokes with humor, he drew the line at jokes about Patriots owner Robert Kraft's past legal troubles. Brady's protectiveness towards Kraft highlights the close relationship between the two and the seriousness of the allegations against Kraft.
The fact that comedian Andrew Schulz was specifically instructed not to joke about Kraft's "happy endings" suggests that Brady was particularly sensitive about this topic. Brady's reaction to Jeff Ross's massage reference further demonstrates his discomfort with jokes about Kraft. It's understandable that Brady would want to protect his friend and mentor, but it's also interesting to note that Kraft was not present at the roast. This suggests that Brady may have been more concerned about the potential damage to Kraft's reputation than to his own.
