Liverpool is set to appeal the red card awarded to Alexis Mac Allister in their 3-1 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday. Referee Thomas Brammall administered a straight red card to the midfielder after a challenge on Ryan Christie, right before the 60th minute, while Liverpool was leading 2-1.
Speaking after the game, Jurgen Klopp said "everything was lacking for a red card".
