A contestant on Wheel of Fortune shocked host Pat Sajak with a recent NSFW answer. During the episode on May 23, a player named Tavaris quickly blurted out his response to a puzzle in the "Phrase" category, leaving the audience in disbelief. The puzzle read "_ _ _ _ I_ T_E B_ _T!"
The contestant from Port St. Lucie, Florida guessed, "Right in the butt?" Sajak, 77, replied, "No," after a pause.
Another contestant named Blake quickly answered with the correct response, "This is the best!" As a result, they won $1,000.
“Yeah, that’s it I think! Much better answer,” Sajak joked before turning to Tavaris. “How you doing, Tavaris? You’ve already made an impression on us.”

Tavaris responded, “I apologize, but I was a little excited.”
Sajak quipped that the team will “figure out a way to handle that tastefully.” It seems airing the entire moment on television was the fix.
The clip of Tavaris on Wheel of Fortune went viral on social media, with fans excitedly welcoming him to the Hall of Fame.
This moment happened as Sajak prepares for his last episodes as the host of Wheel of Fortune. After 40 years on the show, Sajak announced his retirement in June 2023. (Sajak took over as host in 1981, succeeding Chuck Woolery as the first-ever host of Wheel of Fortune.)

Well, last year he announced, "The time has come. Our 41st season starting in September will be my final one. It's been an amazing journey, and I'll share more soon. Thank you all."
Reports have confirmed that Sajak recorded his last show on April 5, and it will be broadcast on Friday, June 7.
Ryan Seacrest has been chosen to replace Pat Sajak as the host of the show, while Vanna White will continue to manage the iconic letterboard.
In June 2023, Seacrest, who is 49 years old, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak. He mentioned that it has been a pleasure for him and the rest of America to watch Pat and Vanna on our TV screens for an incredible 40 years, bringing smiles to our faces and making us feel right at home.
The American Idol host expressed excitement about learning from his replacement during the transition. Sajak also approved of his successor, mentioning that he would be passing on the torch in September 2024.
