Colorado GOP Seeks US Supreme Court Intervention to Reverse Trump's Disqualification from 2024 Ballot

The Colorado GOP has appealed to the US Supreme Court to reverse the unprecedented decision by the Colorado Supreme Court that disqualified Donald Trump from appearing on the state's 2024 ballot

The Colorado Republican Party has requested that the US Supreme Court overturn the historic decision made by the state Supreme Court, which removed Donald Trump from the Colorado 2024 ballot. The Colorado GOP is fiercely advocating for its right to have Trump included on its March primary ballot and continues to be a part of the legal battle. Trump's appeal is anticipated to be filed in the near future.

The appeal will indefinitely extend the state court's pause on the ruling, which was set to expire on January 4, until the US Supreme Court announces whether it will take up the appeal. If it does, the pause will remain in place until the court issues a final decision in the matter.

This also involves the nine federal justices in another controversy related to the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination. The high court is separately involved in other matters related to Trump's election subversion criminal case.
