Christa Belle celebrated the 13th anniversary of the movie "13 Going on 30" by adding some sparkle to the iconic Versace mini dress worn in the film.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the movie's premiere, Belle, who played a young Jenna Rink in the 2004 film, put a new twist on the minidress from the famous "Thriller" dance scene.
Belle transformed the original dress from Versace spring/summer 2003 collection into a gown with a rainbow-striped colorway and a fitted bodice. The skirt was adorned with rhinestones, giving it a glamorous touch.
Can you believe it?! It's been 20 years since '13 Going on 30' first hit theaters and it's still bringing joy to audiences. Belle shared on Instagram, "Oh how time flies! A big thank you to all who worked on this charming film and to everyone who has loved it and Jenner Rink over the years."
She continued, "To celebrate this special day and our shared love for the movie, Jenna Rink, and her wardrobe, I redesigned the famous dress into a gown adorned with chainmail and rhinestones. I initially planned to cover the entire dress in rhinestones, but it already took me many hours to individually place each one by hand. Completing it the way I envisioned would require hundreds of more hours."
Belle added, "A big thank you to Laura, my amazing co-designer at @tfittingagency, who helped bring this vision to life!"

Belle danced in a video while Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" played in the background.
She styled her hair in a bouncy high ponytail and wore a butterfly necklace, similar to how Garner did in the movie.
Belle fondly reminisced about her experience working on the movie "We," expressing her love for every aspect of playing the character Jenna. Despite her first on-screen kiss with Sean Marquette, who portrayed a younger Matty (Mark Ruffalo), she cherished every moment.
She highlighted the kindness and integrity of the cast and crew, the heartwarming story, the fun Thriller dance scenes, the amazing music and costumes, and even the memorable experience of eating steak and lobster for the first time on a movie set. Belle described the entire experience as incredibly formative and positive.
Directed by Gary Winick, the romantic comedy originally hit theaters on April 23, 2004. The film tells the story of Jenna Rink (played by Belle), a 13-year-old girl who is unpopular and frustrated with the rules of junior high and her lack of a boyfriend. One day, she wakes up as her 30-year-old self (played by Garner), a successful fashion editor at Poise magazine. She soon realizes that being an adult isn't as great as she thought it would be, and turns to her childhood best friend, Matt (played by Ruffalo), for help in making things right.
