Chrissy Teigen and John Legend celebrated their recent 10th wedding anniversary by traveling to Lake Como, Italy, the same location where they tied the knot a decade ago. Despite the challenges they have faced in recent years, the couple felt compelled to renew their vows and reignite their commitment to one another in the place that holds so many cherished memories. According to a source quoted in the latest issue of We magazine, the experience was incredibly meaningful for the couple, and they are already planning to do it all over again in another 10 years, with their friends eagerly anticipating the celebration.
Teigen, who is currently 37 years old, and Legend, who is now 44 years old, first got married on September 14, 2003. Throughout their marriage, they have been blessed with four children: Luna, who is now 7 years old, Miles, who is now 5 years old, Esti, who is currently 8 months old, and Wren, who is currently 3 months old.
However, their journey of love has not been without hardships. In September 2020, the couple tragically lost their son, Jack, when Teigen was 20 weeks pregnant. Two years later, Teigen opened up about the heartbreaking event, disclosing that the situation had posed a life-threatening risk.
During my pregnancy with Jack, John, and my third child, I faced numerous difficult and heartbreaking choices. It became evident halfway through that Jack would not survive, and the reality was that I wouldn't either without medical intervention," she explained at the time. "Let's be honest and call it what it truly was: It was an abortion... an abortion performed to save my life as there was no hope for the baby."
Legend and Teigen first crossed paths in 2006 during the filming of his music video "Stereo." Since then, they have faced numerous challenges that have greatly affected them. A reliable source reveals, "The past few years have been incredibly turbulent for them, pushing them to their breaking point." In an effort to regain some joy and temporarily escape their worries, they decided to celebrate their love and renew their vows with a grand celebration.

At the event, loved ones, including the couple's four children, witnessed John and Chrissy going all out. According to the source, there was no holding back, with extravagant food, beautiful flowers, multiple outfit changes, and even singing throughout the affair. The source revealed that everyone was moved by the sincerity of their vows, making it feel more like a genuine wedding rather than a vow renewal.

Teigen later revealed that it had all been a part of her plan. “I always regretted not writing my own vows at our wedding because I was incredibly nervous and insecure. So this was my chance to make up for it... and it worked,” she confessed to E News. During the ceremony, as Teigen glanced at John, she noticed his eyes welling up with tears. “It was an absolutely breathtaking moment,” she shared. “So incredibly beautiful.”
