Chris Hemsworth and his 11-year-old daughter India are bonding on a trip to Iceland. Hemsworth shared photos on Instagram, captioning them as "A little Icelandic adventure with my girl ️." In the pictures, the duo can be seen standing on a glacier, both wearing helmets, harnesses, and crampons to ensure safety and proper traction on the ice.
Hemsworth and India appeared extremely happy in the vacation pictures. India is the oldest of Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky's three children. The couple, who got married in 2010, also have twin sons named Tristan and Sasha, who are 9 years old.
During their father-daughter trip, Hemsworth and India took a ride on ponies on the second day and later explored Iceland on an ATV. Hemsworth posted on social media, "On our third day in Iceland, my daughter and I started our own biking gang. Currently, it's just the two of us, and we intend to keep it that way for now," he added, tagging Icelandic Adventures, the travel agency.
Prior to arriving in Iceland, the Marvel star proudly displayed his daughter's in-flight entertainment. "I assure you, it was her decision #familyloyalty," he wrote alongside a clip of India enjoying Thor: Ragnarok in their luxurious first-class suite.

India's familiarity with her father's superhero movies is well-known, and she even had a role in one of them. In last year's Thor: Love and Thunder, she portrayed Love, one of the main characters. Hemsworth, in an interview with Marvel.com in July 2022, mentioned that sharing the screen with India was effortless.
According to Hemsworth, it was reminiscent of his experiences at home, where he would try to give her instructions and she would assert her independence by doing things her own way. He praised her for this, acknowledging her incredible performance in the film.
Her mom and brothers made appearances in the film, and at first, her role wasn't meant to be anything more than that. Nevertheless, Hemsworth recently disclosed that a sudden plot alteration granted India significantly more screen time.

“You know, that was initially intended to be a brief moment in the movie, but as the story evolved, the character's role expanded,” Hemsworth disclosed to Entertainment Tonight in June. “I suggested, 'Hey, would you like to have some dialogue in the film?' And she responded, ‘Yeah, cool!’ She handled it like a professional and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”

However, he is not yet allowing his daughter to follow in the footsteps of her parents. "I want her to experience a proper childhood, and it seems like that's what she wants too," he expressed.
"But I told her, 'There is ample time, my dear. Go to school, indulge in horse riding, have fun, and embrace being a child,'" he further added. "Once the journey starts, it becomes quite challenging to step off, and you end up missing out on numerous experiences."
