In the latest update of the Chainsaw Man manga, Denji has embraced his devil persona after a long period of restraint. Despite the pain he has endured, he openly admitted to loving the transformation into Chainsaw Man. The chapter depicts Denji unleashing his powers after his home is destroyed and his pets are killed by members of the Chainsaw Man church. He goes on a rampage, defeating his enemies and expressing his passion for being Chainsaw Man. These dramatic events set the stage for the anticipated return of Reze in the manga.

Why Reze must return to Chainsaw Man manga now

Devil hybrids that were prominently featured in the Public Safety Saga are making a comeback in the Academy Saga of Chainsaw Man manga. Characters like Quanxi, Katana Man, and others have returned, but one notable character is yet to make her appearance - Bomb Devil Hybrid, Lady Reze.
Up to this point, all the hybrids that have reappeared in the series have aligned themselves with either the Public Safety or the Chainsaw Man Church. However, Lady Reze's allegiance has not been made clear. As a result, there is a strong likelihood that she may reappear in the series as a symbol of hope for Denji.

Denji's loss of self has opened the possibility for Reze to return to the series and rescue him. While some fans may hesitate to have Reze play the role of Denji's savior, she is the only one who truly saw him as a person and not as a violent, corrupt individual in his past. This was evident in her decision to return and meet him, despite being on the verge of leaving Japan. After Denji saved Reze from drowning at the end of the Bomb Girl Arc, he invited her to escape with him and promised to wait for her at the cafe the next day.

Initially not intending to flee with Denji, Reze was prepared to board a train and leave the city. However, a chance encounter with a flower given to her by Denji led her to reconsider, ultimately deciding to accept Denji's offer to escape together. Consequently, she abandoned her plans at the train station and made her way back to the café where she had previously been employed.
Reze and Denji's long-awaited reunion was sabotaged by Makima, who was determined to prevent the Bomb Girl from taking Denji away from her control. This left Denji devastated, as he began to believe that Reze no longer cared for him.

However, manga fans are aware that Reze had intended to elope with Denji. Her comeback in the Chainsaw Man manga could potentially be ideal. Additionally, her involvement in the story might also spark a rivalry with Asa Mitaka. Therefore, the current story arc could not be a more opportune time for Reze to make her return to the Chainsaw Man manga.

As a Gen Z netizen, I am thrilled about the possibility of Reze's return in the Chainsaw Man manga. Her character was one of the most intriguing and well-developed in the Public Safety Saga, and her relationship with Denji was both complex and heartwarming. I believe that her reappearance would add a new layer of depth and excitement to the current Academy Saga.
Reze's return could also provide an opportunity for Denji to confront his past and come to terms with his feelings for her. Throughout the manga, Denji has struggled with his identity and his place in the world. Reze was one of the few people who truly understood him and accepted him for who he was. Her return could help him to find his way back to himself and embrace his true nature.
