Celtic winger, Daizen Maeda, has recently agreed to a fresh four-year contract with the Scottish Premiership titleholders. This development follows closely behind striker Kyogo Furuhashi's decision to put rumors about his future at rest by committing to the Scottish champions until 2027.
The 25-year-old netted 11 goals in 48 games during the previous season and played a pivotal role in Celtic's triumphant side that clinched the treble. Having represented Japan in the last World Cup, the talented player arrived at the Hoops on loan from Yokohama F. Marinos in December 2021, eventually securing a permanent deal last summer. Expressing his readiness for further accomplishments, he aims to achieve more success with his current club.

"It brings immense joy to me and my family. Ever since our relocation from Japan, the club members and, naturally, the devoted fans have been incredibly supportive. We are thoroughly relishing our life in Scotland," he expressed.
I am thrilled to continue my journey with Celtic, as it is truly a unique club. From the moment I joined, my main objective was to secure the league title, which we have successfully achieved twice.
Last season, clinching the Treble was undoubtedly one of the most memorable moments of my career. However, it is vital that we now shift our focus towards the upcoming season. Our unwavering goal remains unchanged - to collaborate closely with the manager and strive for success, both for the club and our loyal supporters.
"We have three trophies to defend, and we also have Champions League football, so I am excited to get started."
