Céline Dion marked International Stiff Person Syndrome Day by sharing a rare photo of her children.

On Friday, March 15, the 55-year-old singer took to Instagram to acknowledge International SPS Awareness Day. In her post, she shared a photo of herself with her three sons and opened up about her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). Dion revealed that she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder in the fall of 2022. Despite the challenges she faces, she remains determined to overcome SPS and return to the stage, striving for a normal life.

I am so thankful for the love and support from my children, family, team, and all of you! I want to offer my encouragement and support to everyone around the world who has been impacted by SPS. I want you to know that you are capable of overcoming it! We are all in this together!

In the post, there was a special photo of Dion with her three sons - René-Charles Angélil, 23, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 13. These children are from her marriage to her late husband René Angélil, who passed away in 2016.

In December 2022, Dion revealed that she had to postpone some of her upcoming shows due to health issues. In an emotional video, she shared, "I've always been honest with you all, and now I feel ready to talk about it. I've been struggling with my health for a while, and it's been tough for me to open up about all the challenges I've been facing."

Despite facing health challenges, Celine Dion is determined to make a comeback. According to a source in December 2023, Celine is working closely with doctors and physical therapists to improve her condition. Although she may not have the same level of control over her muscles as before, she is taking the time to prioritize her health. Once she receives the green light from her medical team, Celine plans to return to the stage.

The singer has been focusing on her health since being diagnosed, stepping away from the spotlight to give herself time to heal. Despite this, she surprised everyone by appearing at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, where she presented the Album of the Year award to Taylor Swift.

According to an insider who spoke exclusively to Us last month, the singer has been experiencing both good and bad days. She has been dedicating herself to physical therapy and voice exercises to aid in her recovery. Another source mentioned that the diagnosis has had a positive impact on Dion, empowering her and shifting her mindset.
