Discover how Paris Hilton, Amy Schumer, and other renowned stars have dazzled audiences with their culinary prowess on cooking shows. Uncover all the exciting details of their kitchen adventures.

Celebrities like Selena Gomez and Florence Pugh have not only made a mark in acting but have also shown their talent in the kitchen.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Selena Gomez, the former Disney star, decided to enhance her cooking abilities by learning from professional chefs and cooking with her family and friends.

Gomez shared in her HBO Max series Selena + Chef in November 2020 that although she loves to cook, she lacks the skills and knowledge to do so effectively. She admitted, "I can't even fix eggs properly." With extra time at home, she saw it as the perfect opportunity to enhance her cooking abilities by learning from top chefs. The chefs would guide her remotely as they cooked together, each in their own kitchens.

The unscripted series not only helped Gomez improve her cooking skills but also offered viewers a unique opportunity to learn new recipes alongside her.

Gomez shared with The Koalition before the show aired that despite other important matters, she saw the opportunity to create something that could bring joy to people. She expressed her hope that viewers would laugh at her antics and simply enjoy the show. Cooking is a passion of hers, and she wanted to share recipes with others because of her love for being in the kitchen, even though she may not be an expert at it all the time.

The most significant aspect of participating in the show for Gomez was ensuring that a donation was made to the charity selected by each guest chef. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in June 2021, she emphasized the importance of giving back through the show. She mentioned that whenever she collaborates with a brand, she always ensures that there is a charitable component included in the partnership.
