The 76th Annual Tony Awards took place on June 11 at United Palace in New York City, with Broadway's elite dressed to impress. The ceremony, which is broadcast live on CBS, was once again hosted by Ariana DeBose. The 32-year-old actress and singer, who has a decorated Broadway career with roles in musicals such as Bring It On, A Bronx Tale, Hamilton, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, also hosted the Tonys in 2022. DeBose made headlines earlier this year when she went viral for her rap about the honorees at the 2023 BAFTAs.
This year’s class of Tonys nominees also includes Jessica Chastain, Ben Platt and Samuel L. Jackson.
