Fall and winter 2023 is all about the color red, as proven by celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, and Angela Bassett. At the 3rd annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on December 3, Jenner wore a stunning Fendi gown in a flattering crimson shade. The dress featured a turtleneck, corset bodice, and a billowing skirt, all complemented by her rosy makeup and brunette hair. Also in attendance was Bassett, who turned heads in a cherry-colored Schiaparelli gown complete with a caped hood.
Meanwhile, Ratajkowski showed that ruby shades aren't just for red carpets when she was seen out and about in New York City wearing a cozy sweater dress in the vibrant color, paired with black leather boots and dark sunglasses.
But it's not just celebrities championing scarlet this season — the top fashion houses are also on board. Valentino, Hermès, and Balmain debuted bold red designs at their fall/winter 2023 runway shows earlier this year.
