Cassie made her relationship with Fine public by posting a kissing photo on Instagram. This happened two months following her breakup with her ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs, whom she had been dating on and off for 11 years. In November 2023, Cassie took legal action against Diddy, alleging a history of controlling and abusive behavior since their initial meeting in 2005.
In a statement, she expressed, "After enduring years of silence and darkness, I am finally prepared to share my story and speak out not only for myself but also for other women who experience violence and abuse in their own relationships."
Diddy vehemently denies the allegations, according to his lawyer, Ben Brafman. Brafman stated that over the past six months, Diddy has been faced with Ms. Ventura's constant demand of $30 million, with the threat of publishing a damaging book about their relationship if not met. Brafman categorically rejected these demands as a clear case of blackmail. Although Ms. Ventura initially withdrew her threat, she has now filed a lawsuit filled with unfounded and outrageous lies, with the intent to tarnish Diddy's reputation and seek financial gain.
