Calista Flockhart made a stunning appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of her husband Harrison Ford's new movie, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, on Wednesday, June 14. Flockhart wore a familiar outfit that caught the attention of many. Her longtime stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, posted behind-the-scenes pictures of the Ally McBeal alum getting ready, revealing that Flockhart wore the same golden yellow Ralph Lauren skirt that she wore to the Emmys in 1999. Stewart encouraged people to cherish and rewear their clothes, emphasizing the longevity of their working relationship.
At a late '90s awards show, Flockhart wore the ensemble with a white button-down shirt which she tied at her waist. She also added a delicate diamond choker to complete the look. But for the Indiana Jones premiere in Los Angeles, the actress made some changes to the outfit. Flockhart opted for an off-shoulder black top and styled her hair in a chic bob, giving the ensemble a fresh and updated feel.
At the red carpet event celebrating his fifth Indiana Jones film, the Star Wars actor, 80, was accompanied by his wife, an Illinois native. Proudly standing by his side, they held hands as they posed for photographs. Ford, who shares his son Liam, 22, with Flockhart and has four other children from previous relationships, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to bring the character full circle. He emphasized the significance of this achievement during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
"The important thing is the process of making the film. It's where we question ourselves and ask if this is the best way to express the idea. Ultimately, we rely on our audience and I work for them. Seeing them happy makes me happy. Additionally, my relationship with Flockhart brings me joy. We've been together since 2002 and I'm grateful for her presence in my life."
The secret to Harrison Ford's lasting marriage, according to the Call of the Wild actor in a February 2020 interview with Parade, is to "nod your head" instead of talking. His latest film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, featuring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, and Antonio Banderas, will be released in theaters on Friday, June 30.
