Rumer, 35, took to Instagram on Monday, November 20, to share a heartfelt tribute to her father, Bruce Willis, as he continues to navigate his battle with dementia. Alongside a precious throwback photo of Bruce, 68, cradling her as a baby, Rumer expressed how much she is missing him.

Bruce Willis has daughters named Rumer, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis with his ex-wife Demi Moore. He also has daughters named Mabel and Evelyn with his wife Emma Heming Willis. His older daughters have been openly discussing his health struggles on social media. Last week, Tallulah, who is 29 years old, reminisced about her father's life before he was diagnosed with dementia in February. She shared a series of photos of herself and her dad on Instagram on November 15, expressing her love and pride for him.

Bruce's family revealed in March 2022 that he would be retiring from acting due to his diagnosis of aphasia. Over a year later, it was disclosed by Moore, who is 61, that her former husband's condition has now advanced to frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a disease for which no cure currently exists.

In a recent update, Heming Willis shared how the family is dealing with the situation, expressing feelings of guilt concerning their access to "resources" while Bruce continues to face health challenges.

"When I embark on a rejuvenating hike to clear my mind, I am acutely aware that not all care partners have the privilege to do so," expressed Heming Willis in an article for Maria Shriver's Sunday Paper dated November 11. Recognizing that the attention garnered by my accounts of our family's journey brings to light numerous untold narratives, each deserving empathy and attentiveness, I aspire to become an ardent advocate for others. My ultimate aim is to foster a sense of visibility and comprehension within their lives."

"I feel much more hopeful now compared to when Bruce was initially diagnosed," the entrepreneur expressed. "I have gained a deeper understanding of this disease and have become part of an extraordinary support network. I am hopeful because I have discovered a new purpose – one that I would have never actively pursued – which involves using my platform to assist and empower others."

In addition, Bruce's support system encompasses his former co-stars and colleagues. Moonlighting creator Glenn Gordon Caron stated in October that he has made efforts to visit Bruce on a regular basis.

Caron, 69, stated to the New York Post that within the first one to three minutes of her visit, it becomes evident that he recognizes her. Despite his diminished verbal ability and the loss of his once impressive reading skills, he remains the same person.
