Brittany Mahomes, a mother, is urging other moms to prioritize their health following an injury.

In a message shared on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, March 6, Mahomes, 28, emphasized the importance of caring for the pelvic floor after having children. She posted a photo of herself wearing a hospital bracelet and wrote, "Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously. From: A girl with a fractured back."

Brittany, who has two children with husband Patrick Mahomes, is staying positive despite the health scare. In an Instagram Story, she shared a photo of Patrick holding a can of Coors Light while walking with their daughter, saying, “But maybe vacationing with my homies will make it better?”

Brittany and Patrick met in high school in 2011 and continued their relationship through college, even though they attended different schools. Patrick played football at Texas Tech University while Brittany went to the University of Texas at Tyler. They got married in Hawaii in March 2022.

Brittany has been by her husband's side since he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. Last month, she watched from the stands as Patrick led the Chiefs to victory at Super Bowl LVIII, where they defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime. After the game, while accepting the Vince Lombardi trophy on the field, Patrick gave a special shoutout to his wife and kids.

During the trophy presentation, Patrick expressed his gratitude for having his family there, saying, "It means the world that they're here. The whole family of Kansas City and Chiefs Kingdom is special. Brittany is a great wife with two great kids. I can't ask for anything better than this."

The family of four extended their celebration by going to Disneyland a week later. Patrick expressed his joy in a video on Instagram, saying, "I'm having a blast celebrating the Super Bowl win with my family. Let's have fun at the park, baby." They enjoyed riding attractions, meeting Disney characters, and even joined Mickey and Minnie Mouse on a float during a parade in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Patrick has always made it a point to demonstrate that professional athletes can also have a successful personal life. This was a key theme in his 2023 docuseries, Quarterback, where he aimed to provide viewers with a peek into the life of an NFL player balancing career and family.

Balancing football with life and being a normal guy with a normal family is tough, but it's something people will see from me, Marcus Mariota, and Kirk Cousins," the QB shared with We in July 2023. He emphasized that it's possible to excel in your profession while also having a fulfilling family life. The goal was to provide a glimpse into the NFL lifestyle and showcase the importance of family.

On the other hand, Brittany mentioned to Yahoo!Life that she is still navigating how to strike a balance between her career and motherhood.

"My kids are always watching me, and I want them to see that I’m putting in hard work," she shared in a recent interview. "They see their dad constantly working hard and pursuing his passions. So, it’s important for them to see both of us going out there and achieving our goals."

Brittany mentioned that despite the busy schedule, parenting has become more enjoyable as her children grow older, especially with Sterling, who is developing her own unique personality.

She expressed her joy at watching her daughter grow and develop into her own person. Seeing her communicate effectively and express herself independently brings her immense happiness. As for Bronze, the focus is on his next milestone - learning to walk. Although he prefers crawling for now, they are working on helping him stand and move around so he can interact with his sister. Sterling is eagerly awaiting the day when Bronze can run and play with her.

Looking ahead, Brittany is excited about what the future holds for her family. She is looking forward to seeing the journey they will take together.
