Brittany Mahomes, 28, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 19 to call out internet trolls and ask them to stop with the rude comments. She expressed that there has been an increase in negative behavior and asked the trolls to consider going back to where they came from.
Brittany Mahomes was seen wearing a black dress and white peacoat after her husband's game, drawing criticism from some social media users for not wearing Chiefs gear and colors like other famous Chiefs supporters.
Another troll added, "Why does she have to be there? Can't you just watch it on TV? I don't understand."
However, the criticism extends beyond pictures of Brittany. Another Instagram user expressed their opinion on a photo of Brittany and Patrick, 28, taking their kids to meet Santa Claus. "It would be nice to see your kids smiling and happy sometimes," the hater commented. "I've never seen little ones look so miserable in every photo all the time like these two."

While Brittany receives hate from some online, others have the former soccer player’s back.
"Your unwavering support for your husband and the team is truly beautiful," one fan raved in a comment on Brittany’s latest Instagram post. "Don't pay attention to the haters. I don't understand why people feel the need to follow someone just to tear them down. You don't deserve all the hateful comments," a second follower added. "What I admire most about @brittanylynne is how she stands her ground and politely tells off those who criticize her for things she has done or said."
Since her husband became an NFL star, Brittany has become adept at shutting down negativity. During an Instagram Q&A in August, a follower asked, "Do negative comments bother you? Team Britt always!"

Her response was, "It used to matter, but not anymore. I couldn't care less about the opinions of people who don't even know me."
In January 2022, Brittany faced backlash for spraying fans with champagne to celebrate a Chiefs victory. She also caused a stir in October 2021 with a tweet saying, "Refs are never in our favor."
July saw fans beginning to empathize with Brittany's perspective as her and Patrick's story was showcased in Netflix's Quarterback.
"I was completely unprepared for this," she expressed in the documentary, reflecting on her sudden fame. "Especially at such a young age. We were in love, and I loved him wholeheartedly. But I never anticipated our lives to change so dramatically, and for us to be thrust into the public eye like this."
Viewers later took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share their thoughts on the revelations.
