Article Overview
The anticipation for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is incredibly high following the impactful conclusion of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Fans are eagerly speculating about the upcoming trilogy's resolution.
Arifinity_ crafted awe-inspiring fan art that envisions voice actors from animated movies taking on live-action roles. Notably, Shameik Moore is depicted as Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy. This artistic concept fuels anticipation for the potential convergence of live-action and animation in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. It gives rise to the idea of a sprawling multiverse narrative, with speculation suggesting that Miles could join forces with live-action interpretations of Spider-Men portrayed by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.
Several voice actors from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse have been envisioned as their live-action counterparts in new Marvel fan art. Despite the immense success of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the story is not yet complete, as Sony Pictures plans to release Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Although the release date for the third installment has not been announced, anticipation is high following the impactful ending of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Since the title of the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse movie was revealed, Marvel fans have been eagerly speculating about how the trilogy will conclude. As the world anxiously awaits the release of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, artist Arifinity_ has shared various artwork pieces imagining what the voice actors would look like if they portrayed their animated characters in live-action.
Arifinity_'s designs showcase Shameik Moore portraying the protagonist, Miles Morales, also known as Spider-Man, in the Spider-Verse movies.
Additionally, Arifinity_ envisions the potential appearance of Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, also known as Spider-Woman, in the Spider-Verse movies. This would mark her second significant role in the Marvel universe, following her portrayal of Kate Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jake Johnson's portrayal of Peter B. Parker, a beloved character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, is featured in Arifinity_'s artwork, alongside the live-action depiction of his daughter, Mayday Parker.
Arifinity_'s live-action fan art also showcases the inclusion of Andy Samberg as Ben Reilly, known as the Scarlet Spider, in the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Karan Soni has previously portrayed Dopinder in the Deadpool movies, but Arifinity_ has taken on the task of designing Pavitr Prabhakar, also known as Spider-Man India, in live-action. Another character, Miguel O'Hara, or Spider-Man 2099, played by Oscar Isaac, has also been given the Arifinity_ treatment, with the star of Moon Knight donning the suit of this Spider-Man variant.
Last, but not least, Arifinity_ also envisioned Daniel Kaluuya portraying Hobie Brown, aka Spider-Punk, a character who first appeared in the film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. This would mark Kaluuya's second major Marvel undertaking, following his role in Black Panther.
Will Spider-Verse 3 Include Any Live-Action?
The potential combination of animation and live-action in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has been a subject of speculation. This lingering question gained traction following the release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which presented the concept as a tangible possibility. The introduction of the Spider-Society featured glimpses of live-action counterparts in archival footage, including brief appearances by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire as their respective Spider-Men, alongside a full live-action portrayal of the Prowler by Donald Glover.
Similarly, when the Spot made a cameo in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (which exists as Earth-688), alongside Venom's Mrs. Chen, it further expanded the possibilities for live-action appearances in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Whether it's Garfield, Maguire, or even Tom Holland's Spider-Man, the coexistence of live-action and animation opens the door for the most epic Spider-Man multiverse story ever if Miles gets to team up with the live-action actors. This could be the reason why Sony Pictures is keeping the third and final installment under tight wraps.
Although it may take some time before Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse hits theaters, the wait will undoubtedly be worth it. It's better to allow a few years for the final movie to be released rather than rushing it, especially considering the major undertaking that the animation aspect of this franchise represents. In the meantime, while waiting for more updates on Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, fans can enjoy Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse at home through various media platforms and streaming services.

As a long-time fan of the Spider-Man franchise, I am incredibly excited about the potential for a live-action Spider-Verse movie. I think it would be an amazing opportunity to bring together all of the different Spider-Men from across the multiverse into one epic film. I can't wait to see how they would interact with each other and how they would work together to defeat their common enemies.
I think the fan art that envisions voice actors from the animated movies taking on live-action roles is really well done. It gives me a glimpse of what it could be like to see these characters come to life on the big screen. I think it would be really cool to see Shameik Moore as Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy. They both have the perfect look and feel for these characters. I also think it would be great to see Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker and Andy Samberg as Ben Reilly. They would both bring a lot of humor and energy to these roles.
