Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz may not have stayed together, but their love for their son is evident. They welcomed Bronx Mowgli in 2008, the same year they got married. However, after three years of marriage, they announced their separation in 2011.
"I would be foolish to deny my role in its unraveling," Wentz disclosed during a 2015 interview with Howard Stern, acknowledging personal struggles and strains in his marriage during his band's hiatus in 2010. "Initially, I was resentful and thought, 'This is terrible! You abandoned me!' But perspective sets in. We have a child together. Our child is incredible. He's amazing."
Following their divorce, Simpson and Wentz both started families with new partners. The talented "Boyfriend" singer, in particular, tied the knot with Evan Ross in 2014. They joyfully welcomed daughter Jagger in 2015 and son Ziggy in 2020.
The bassist, on the other hand, is the proud father of two children. His son, Saint, was born in 2014, and his daughter, Marvel, was born in 2018. Both children were welcomed into the world with his long-term partner, Meagan Camper.
Speaking about their co-parenting journey in 2018, Simpson expressed his joy, stating, "It's amazing. Our family is incredible. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate."
Ross stated that the two couples share a strong friendship. He had previously acknowledged that having a blended family can lead to various outcomes, but both families are currently progressing well.
He expressed, "I believe the abundance of respect within our group contributes to the ease of our situation. We were fortunate in that aspect."
Wentz expressed his admiration for his relationship with Simpson's son, Bronx, in an interview with Us in 2019. He described Bronx as brilliant and compared his imagination to that of George Lucas, suggesting that he has great potential.
Wentz acknowledges that it would be unreasonable to claim knowing the ultimate secret to successful coparenting. He believes in the significance of listening and providing people with equilibrium. While acknowledging that he doesn't possess all the solutions, he describes Ashlee as a wonderful mother. Wentz further praises Camper, stating that she is not only a great mother but also a remarkable individual who brings balance into his life.
In June 2022, there was a noticeable stir when Simpson posted a picture of Bronx, the oldest son of the former spouses, who appeared to have significantly matured. Sharing a collection of images from a family vacation with her children and Ross, Simpson added the caption, "London dinner dates with my loves."

Additionally, he praised Camper, recognizing her as both an exceptional mother and an excellent person who brings balance to his life.
