Call of Duty: Warzone's original version has officially come to an end today, leading to the emotional farewell messages shared by players and fans.
In November 2022, Warzone 2.0 was launched, and the original game was rebranded as Warzone Caldera. However, Activision announced earlier in June that Caldera would be permanently shutting down on September 21. Unfortunately, this means that all players' progress will be reset. Although purchases made in Warzone Caldera will not carry over to Warzone 2.0, they can still be utilized in other popular Call of Duty games such as Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard. At the moment, it remains uncertain whether the beloved Caldera or Verdansk maps will make a return in future updates of Warzone 2.0.

The Reddit community's response to Warzone has been diverse, encompassing gratitude, longing for the past, and occasional frustration with the current version. The original Verdansk map, in particular, has become a focal point of affection and admiration.
