The popular isekai fantasy series I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, also known as Iseleve, is reportedly receiving a new anime project. The official website of the series announced this news today.
The story revolves around Yuuya Tenjo, a neglected and orphaned young boy who discovers a portal to another dimension in his late grandfather's house. In this new world, he obtains cheat abilities that empower him to grow stronger and more skilled in both realms.

The upcoming anime project is expected to be a continuation of the initial season of the anime adaptation, which aired from April to June 2023. Season 1 of the show was produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Millepensee. The series was streamed globally on Crunchyroll and made available on their platform. Depending on the viewer's region, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World can also be streamed on Netflix. Miku, the original author of the series, expressed their delight regarding the launch of the upcoming anime project.

It can be speculated that the cast and crew of season 1 of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World will be returning for the new project. This anime series is adapted from a light novel series written by Miku and illustrated by Reine Kuwashima, which was initially published on the Kakuyomu website in March 2017.
Since December 2018, Fujimi Shobo has been publishing the light novel series under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko brand. As of September 2023, a total of 14 volumes have been published.
Moreover, a manga adaptation illustrated by Kazuomi Minatogawa has been serialized on the Dengeki PlayStation Comic Web website of ASCII Media Works since December 2019. As of August 2023, a total of five volumes have been released.
Additionally, an announcement was made on March 17, 2023, about a free-to-play MMORPG web game titled The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World Too: Parallel Universe, which draws inspiration from the series. Fans can look forward to more information, including the release date and format of the new anime, being made available soon on the official website.
