The Attack on Titan anime series is an adaptation of Hajime Isayama's manga, originally serialized in Kodansha's monthly Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021, spanning 34 volumes. The anime premiered in 2013, starting with a 25-episode first season that aired from April to September.

After a four-year hiatus, the second season of Attack on Titan aired for 12 episodes from April to June 2017. The third season was divided into two parts; the first part consisted of 12 episodes and aired from July to October 2018, while the second part had 10 episodes and ran from April to July 2019. These initial three seasons were produced by WIT Studio.
