Chandler then focuses on a case involving a homeless man accused of murdering a doctor. Seeking assistance, she enlists Bosch's expertise to examine the evidence and provide testimony. During his investigation, Bosch discovers that the potential heir to Vance's wealth has passed away. Additionally, an earthquake damages Bosch's iconic apartment, forcing him to find a new place to live.
