Discover the captivating theory that ignites Boruto's future! Unveiling the possibility of their child inheriting both the Sharingan and Byakugan, this theory sets the stage for an exciting new manga series Kishimoto's approval seals the intrigue!

Since the beginning of the Boruto manga, fans have speculated that the conclusion of the series may suggest the possibility of a new manga series. Just as the Naruto manga hinted at a sequel, fans have come to believe that one day, when the sequel manga concludes, it will hint at a new manga centered around the main character's son.

Considering that Boruto is likely to end up with Sarada Uchiha, fans have also theorized about the abilities of their potential offspring from the very start. However, the question remains: what kind of abilities will their child possess? While it is easy to assume that the two characters will have a powerful child, delving into their genetic makeup allows for a deeper understanding of the potential.

Boruto and Sarada's child may possess both Sharingan and Byakugan

Given that Sarada and Sumire were the only ones unaffected by Eida's manipulation, there exists a strong possibility of Boruto eventually marrying Sarada. Online speculation suggests that since "N" and "B" are adjacent keys on a keyboard, Boruto's future child might be named with a "V" (the key located near "B" on a keyboard), thus the coined name "Voruto."

That being said, fans firmly believe that there will be no new manga created once Boruto's story concludes. However, towards the end of the ongoing manga series, fans can anticipate glimpses of the next generation of ninjas through manga panels. These panels might showcase the hypothetical character "Voruto," who would be the son of Boruto and Sarada.

What abilities can fans expect Voruto to inherit from his parents? Despite not having the Byakugan, it's important for fans to remember that Voruto is a descendant of the clan. While it may seem that the Byakugan gene would be diluted, that is not the case.

In the light novel Itachi Shinden: Book of Bright Light, there was a character named Mukai Kohinata who belonged to a branch of the Hyuga clan that separated from the main family many generations ago. Surprisingly, he possessed a Byakugan in his left eye, proving that even with potential gene dilution, an offspring can still inherit the Byakugan.

Seen in the manga, Sarada Uchiha possesses the Mangekyo Sharingan, indicating that her progeny could potentially inherit the Sharingan as well. This leads to the intriguing possibility that "Voruto" may ultimately possess both the Sharingan and the Byakugan. While this theory may initially appear far-fetched, it was actually confirmed by Masashi Kishimoto in Naruto character Databook 3. According to Kishimoto, an offspring born from the combination of the Hyuga and Uchiha clan genes would possess the Sharingan in their right eye and the Byakugan in their left eye.

While this theory may imply that "Voruto" will possess unmatched power, it may not necessarily be accurate. Evidence from the aforementioned light novel suggests that a single Byakugan eye can be just as effective as a paired set. However, the same cannot be said for the Sharingan. Unlike the Byakugan, the Sharingan reveals its true potential only when two eyes are unlocked. This revelation occurs when an individual finally awakens the Mangekyo Sharingan.

When a Uchiha unlocks the Mangekyo Sharingan, they gain access to two abilities, such as Amaterasu and Kagutsuchi in Sasuke's case. However, possessing only one Sharingan may result in unlocking an ability that holds little or no value. Furthermore, the Uchiha can only manifest Susano'o if they possess both Mangekyo Sharingan eyes. This indicates that having a Byakugan could potentially weaken Voruto's power.

Nevertheless, there are advantages to having both dojutsu eyes. Firstly, it would enable Voruto to use Genjutsu on individuals who are far away from his location. Additionally, it would render him almost invulnerable to attacks since the Byakugan provides a 360° view of his environment. Consequently, Voruto would likely anticipate and effectively defend against any incoming assaults.

That said, one may have to wait and watch if Masashi Kishimoto would actually give fans a glimpse of "Voruto" or not.

Editor's P/S

As a fan of the Boruto series, I am intrigued by the theory that Boruto and Sarada's child could possess both the Sharingan and Byakugan. This would be a powerful combination of abilities, and it would be interesting to see how it would be used. I also appreciate that Kishimoto has confirmed that this is a possibility, as it gives fans something to look forward to in the future.

However, I also think it is important to remember that this is just a theory, and there is no guarantee that it will come true. It is also possible that Boruto and Sarada's child will not have any special abilities at all. Ultimately, I will be happy with whatever happens, as I am confident that Kishimoto will create a compelling story.
