In BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7, Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajishi from the 11th Squad finds herself up against Sternritter V - The Vanishing Point, Guenael Lee. Yachiru isn't entirely sure if her opponent is even real, as his power allows him to manipulate perception and disappear from sight. However, her exceptional instincts kick in, allowing her to land multiple punches. Despite Isane's concern that the fleeting presence might not be hostile, Yachiru recalls Kenpachi's advice about trusting her instincts. Ready for battle, she draws her Zanpakutō and activates her unique ability, Sanpo Kenjū. This power summons two creatures that mimic all of Yachiru's movements and attacks, making it almost impossible to dodge.

The Strongest

As the battle ensues, Isane contemplates the unchanging abilities of Yachiru's Zanpakutō, which remain unaffected despite the presumed activation of Shikai. The uniqueness of this power leaves Isane astounded, and Guenael starts to lose his advantageous position. However, before the fight can resume, a Quincy emerges beside the injured Captains who lie unconscious, inside the protective barrier maintained by Isane. In a cold and callous manner, the Quincy reveals that he has already slain them. Additionally, he discloses that he is the creator of Guenael, rendering the latter obsolete and promptly taking his life. The Quincy swiftly incapacitates Yachiru, proclaiming the supremacy of imagination as the most formidable force in the world. Witnessing genuine terror within Yachiru for the first time, she begins to despair. Yet, before hope fades entirely, Zaraki dramatically enters the scene, providing a sudden twist to the unfolding events.

Gremmy Thoumeaux vs Zaraki Kenpachi – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2

Curious about the outcome of his training with Unohana, the former Kenpachi, Isane inquires. Zaraki responds by informing Isane that she is free to hold a grudge or seek revenge for her Captain. Despite her apparent sadness, Isane breathes a sigh of relief, aware that Zaraki now carries the prestigious title. Setting the stage for their impending battle, the Quincy elevates the ground beneath them, creating a magnificent spectacle worthy of Kenpachi's renowned reputation. Boldly proclaiming himself as the mightiest Sternritter, Gremmy Thoumeaux introduces his extraordinary ability, The Visionary, which grants him the power to transform his imaginative thoughts into reality. As Kenpachi launches his attack against Gremmy, his sword fails to penetrate its intended target. Reveling in his invincible strength, the Quincy discloses that he had envisioned a body impervious to harm, akin to unyielding steel. However, Kenpachi channels all his force into the blade that was denied entry into Gremmy's shoulder, compelling him to kneel before his might.

Seeing Red

Despite receiving a heavy blow, Gremmy maintains his characteristic lifeless yet smiling expression. Kenpachi reproaches the Quincy, suggesting that he should have disclosed his hardening technique earlier, allowing Kenpachi to adjust his attack accordingly. A low-angle shot captures Kenpachi's imposing figure from behind the kneeling Quincy, creating the illusion of a prostrating stance. Kenpachi asserts that there is nothing he cannot slice through, for he is "The Kenpachi." The screen transitions dramatically to the episode's title card, unveiling the words "I AM THE EDGE." Gremmy Summons a Meteor – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7

Filled with desperation, Gremmy frantically searches for a winning strategy. The powerful soundtrack "What Can You See in Their Eyes" intensifies the scene as it plays. In a bold move, he duplicates himself, creating a clone with equal power and authority, effectively amplifying the strength of his imagination. Gremmy² then invokes an unstoppable meteor, impervious even to death. Taking pleasure in the opportunity to slice through the unknown, Kenpachi addresses his sword by name as he leaps towards the approaching meteor. This marks the first time he activates his Shikai, commanding it by saying "Drink," with Yachiru watching from below. The music abruptly stops as she reminisces about their initial encounter. Wielding his newly revealed Zanpakutō, Nozarashi, Kenpachi skillfully divides the meteor into two halves. Notably, as he approaches, he firmly grasps his sword with both hands.

Monstrosity

As the build-up frames unfold, Kenpachi regresses to his childhood form, delivering a powerful impact. Following the ensuing explosion, the music resurfaces with full force to accompany the revelation of Kenpachi wielding a colossal cleaver. Amidst the battle, glimpses of genuine emotion flicker across Gremmy's face, deeply moved by Kenpachi's prowess. Kenpachi reaffirms his unwavering belief that there is nothing he cannot cut. Employing his abilities, Gremmy creates multiple duplicates of himself and sends Kenpachi hurtling into a void, only to be swiftly cleaved as he rashly celebrates his premature victory. Emerging from a monumental crack in the sky, Kenpachi appears like a towering Menos Grande.

Gremmy suffers defeat against Kenpachi in BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 7. Despite his relentless efforts, Gremmy is unable to overpower Kenpachi, leading to significant psychological repercussions. As the melancholic soundtrack "Never Meant to Belong" resonates in the background, Gremmy contemplates his newfound desire to emerge victorious and prove his strength to someone. However, his augmented form crumbles, leaving him short of his aspirations.
