Blanket Jackson, the youngest son of Michael Jackson, is reportedly taking his grandmother to court. He was born Prince Michael Jackson II and changed his name to Bigi in 2015. According to a report on Wednesday, March 20, he has requested the court to prevent Katherine Jackson from accessing her late son's estate funds.
According to court documents we have seen, 93-year-old Katherine is hoping to use the estate funds to cover her ongoing legal dispute. Initially, 22-year-old Blanket and Katherine joined forces against the executors of Michael’s estate when they wanted to use his money for a secret business deal.
Earlier this month, the court sided with the executors, but Katherine is now appealing the ruling. On the other hand, Blanket is now taking the opposite stance.
Blanket is against using his late father's estate to cover his grandmother's legal expenses during the appeal. According to court documents, Blanket does not think Katherine will succeed in the case and has requested the court to only approve "reasonable attorney's fees from the pre-appeal process."

Michael admitted to his actions, stating, "I offer no excuses for what happened. I got caught up in the excitement of the moment. I would never intentionally endanger the lives of my children."
He was also the father of Prince, 27, and Paris Jackson, 25.
Michael passed away at 50 years old in June 2009 due to a cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles residence. It was later revealed, two years after his untimely death, that Michael's demise was a result of a propofol overdose given by his doctor, Conrad Murray, who was subsequently found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
