Bindi Irwin’s 3-year-old daughter, Grace, is described as "hilarious" and "curious" and she absolutely loves growing up at the Australia Zoo. In fact, she is already taking charge and running the show.

During an exclusive interview at the Endometriosis Foundation’s Blossom Ball in New York City on May 3, Bindi shared, “Grace is so much fun. She basically runs Australia Zoo now - no doubt about it. She's like, ‘I'm in charge here, I'll take care of everyone,’ even though she's just 3 years old.”

Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, share a daughter named Grace who absolutely loves animals, especially tortoises.

According to Bindi, Grace has "no fear" of animals and her favorite place to visit in the zoo is the tortoise yard. Every afternoon, they give Grace the option to go anywhere in the zoo, but she always chooses to visit the tortoises.

Bindi describes her daughter as "beautiful and hilarious" and mentions that they pick hibiscus flowers together to feed the tortoises, which Grace loves to do.

Bindi confessed that bugs are not her strong suit, even though her daughter is “obsessed” with all kinds of creepy crawly creatures.

“I’m not a big fan of wasps, and I have a slight aversion to bugs in general. I’m not afraid of them, but I really don’t want a cockroach crawling on my face. You know what I mean?” Bindi explained. “[Grace] believes that bugs are the most amazing things in the world. Every day, she says, ‘Mama, let’s go search for bugs.’ She adores them. So, I’m trying to educate her that bees are wonderful, but we shouldn’t touch them because they can sting. Despite my fear, I try to overcome it when I’m with her. It’s actually quite heartwarming.”

The toddler “just loves everything” and is “curious” about the world around her, which has helped Bindi find her inner child.
