Beyoncé put her love on top when it came to celebrating Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian, who is 43 years old, turned to social media on October 24 to showcase the numerous flower bouquets she received from her loved ones for her birthday. Among these, there was a special bouquet from Beyoncé herself. The singer, aged 42, wrote a heartfelt message on a card accompanying a stunning arrangement of white flowers, wishing Kim a beautiful birthday and hoping that she is surrounded by joy. The note ended with "All my love, B."
Kardashian's two eldest children, daughter North, 10, and son Saint, 10, sent bouquets of flowers, along with friends Vanessa Bryant and Simon Huck. (Kardashian and West are also the parents of daughter Chicago, 5, and son Psalm, 3.)
For Kim's birthday, which was on Saturday, October 21, she celebrated at Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills with her sisters Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner. Their mom Kris Jenner was also present, along with other A-listers such as Hailey Bieber, Kimora Lee Simmons, Ivanka Trump, and more.
While Beyoncé was not in attendance at the star-studded event, she made sure that Kardashian felt the love. The two women have been friends for many years, although their friendship hit a rough patch in 2016. During a concert in Sacramento, West publicly criticized Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z, causing tension between them.
At that time, West claimed that Beyoncé agreed to perform at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards only if she won Video of the Year for "Formation." He also expressed his frustration towards Jay-Z for not returning his phone calls after Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris earlier that same month. West pleaded for Jay-Z to reach out and called for a man-to-man conversation, anxiously adding, "Jay Z, I know you have influence. Please don't harm me. Just give me a call. Talk to me like a man."

Jay-Z responded to West’s allegations on the "Rap Radar" podcast, expressing his main concern about West bringing up Beyoncé during his performance. (Apart from their 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z also have twins Rumi and Sur, born in June 2017.)
"But what really upset me was when my kid and my wife were brought into it," he expressed. "Kanye is like a younger brother to me. He has mentioned me countless times, even dedicating a song to me called 'Big Brother.' We have overcome bigger conflicts in the past. However, involving my family changes things for me. It becomes a serious issue. That is a significant problem, and he is well aware of it." The rapper known for "99 Problems" added that West is aware that he went too far and that he often says things that are incorrect but eventually addresses them.
In 2017, West ended his partnership with Tidal, Jay-Z's streaming platform, due to a financial dispute. He claimed that he was owed a bonus for bringing 1.5 million new subscribers to the platform. The following year, Jay-Z discussed their "complicated relationship" on an episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman, stating that they were more than just friends.
"He will always be my sibling, my brother," Jay-Z explained during the April 2018 interview. "Although we don't share the same parents, I have witnessed Kanye's journey from the beginning, even before he released an album. I admire his consistency and authenticity. I remember a time when he interrupted our studio session, climbed onto the table, and started rapping. We politely asked him to come down, but he refused, claiming to be the savior of Chicago. Keep in mind, he didn't even have a record at that point."
In December 2019, an exclusive source told We that despite previous reports of a lawsuit, West and Jay-Z, along with Kardashian and Beyoncé, were seen together in the VIP section at Diddy's 50th birthday party. The insider mentioned that they greeted each other warmly and appeared friendly and happy. They all occupied a section behind Diddy and his family.
Even after finalizing her divorce from West in November 2022, Kardashian has continued to show support for Beyoncé. In September, she, along with Khloé, Kris, North, and Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope, attended Beyoncé's birthday concert in Los Angeles as part of her Renaissance World Tour.
“On our way to see the birthday girl!” Kim captioned an Instagram Story video that showed the group singing along to Beyoncé’s 2013 hit “Drunk in Love.”
