Trent Alexander-Arnold is just a regular guy accomplishing amazing feats. "Winning the trophy is within our reach," he confidently stated. "It's up to us to make it happen. I believe we have a strong possibility."

We are considered one of the top contenders. It's not about being arrogant, but it's important to have confidence and believe in our ability to win.

If we don't have faith in ourselves, we won't succeed. So, as a team, we will go out there with belief. However, we understand that we must perform at our best to achieve our goal.

Alexander-Arnold has been sidelined in 2024 because of a knee injury. However, the 25-year-old recently made a comeback in the Premier League with Liverpool. He scored an impressive free-kick against Fulham in a 3-1 victory for his team on April 21.

His current aim is to show England manager Gareth Southgate that he deserves a spot in the squad and to continue improving on his 23 international appearances.

It might surprise people to hear where Alexander-Arnold believes is his best position for the national team: in midfield alongside Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham.

"I would say midfield is where I see myself in an England shirt," explained Alexander-Arnold, who is typically a right-back for Liverpool in defense.

He continued, "I consider myself a midfielder because of the discussions I've had with the manager."

I can definitely play well at right back if needed, but I've been talking to the manager and he sees me more in a midfield role where I see a good opportunity.

Unfortunately, Alexander-Arnold missed Euro 2020 due to a thigh injury and was unable to join England's journey to the final, where they lost to Italy on penalties. In the 2022 World Cup, he was on the bench four times and only played for 33 minutes in Qatar.

"I want to make a mark at the Euros. Being a key player on the team is my goal," Alexander-Arnold expressed.

"Although I usually play as a right-back for my club, I believe I can make it happen. I just need to work hard and give my best."
