Being a Part of Jason Kelce's Family: Just as Fun as You'd Imagine

In a sneak peek of an interview for ABC's Impact x Nightline airing on Thursday, November 30, Kylie Kelce, 31, revealed her experience of becoming a part of husband Jason Kelce's well-known family. "I felt like an outsider at first because I married into the family," she said. "But the most incredible part is that I was embraced with open arms."
Kylie observed that despite her husband's small family of parents Donna and Ed Kelce and brother Travis Kelce, their energy is far from insignificant. "They may be small, but they bring a warmth and inviting energy that feels just like a big family. It was easy to jump right in and it's just as much fun as you'd expect."
During the interview, Donna, 71, confessed that she had never anticipated being in the spotlight after her sons' football success. She reflected on the whirlwind year, from Travis and Jason's appearance in the Super Bowl to Travis's high-profile romance with global superstar Taylor Swift.
"I think it's just one of those things in life where unexpected things happen and then they just escalate," she explained about the sudden fame. "This year has been one event after another, and it feels like it's never going to end."

Kylie and Jason, 36, publicly announced their relationship on Instagram in November 2015 after meeting on a dating app. Following three years of dating, the couple got married. In November 2019, Kylie and Jason welcomed their first daughter, Wyatt. They then expanded their family with daughters Elliotte and Bennett in March 2021 and February, respectively.
On the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast, Kylie recalled meeting the Kelce brood for the first time
in 2016 while attending the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii.
“We were present for Travis, and it marked the initial occasion where every member of the family was gathered in one location at the same time,” Kylie stated during the September episode. She also mentioned that it was her first encounter with Travis, 34.

Travis, for his part, shared that he thought Kylie was “shy” at first but got to know her better while the group was playing a drinking game
“You were both pulling the same stunt that Jason was attempting, which wasn’t really about winning the game. It was all about outsmarting the hell out of whoever you were up against,” the tight end humorously remarked. “You and Jason had that in common. I couldn’t help but think, ‘Wow, this duo is a force to be reckoned with.’”
