The new Untucked show features Drag Race legends like Latrice Royale, Coco Montrese, Kennedy Davenport, Derrick Barry, Bosco, Lawrence Chaney, Alexis Mateo, and Pangina Heals. These talented performers have been part of the same community for years. Bosco, who is 30 years old, is the newest addition to the group. He made his debut in RPDR season 14, which aired in 2022.

Bosco exclusively shared with We before the Live Untucked premiere that Derrick is a standout among the group. Many of us in the franchise have had a guest spot moment at the Vegas revue. Before my turn, I was curious about what to expect and who I would encounter. Everyone I spoke to had great things to say about Derrick. They praised her kindness, welcoming nature, and willingness to help newcomers navigate the scene. And true enough, when I finally met her, she lived up to all the praise.

Derrick, who is 40 years old, has been performing in Vegas long before appearing on season 8 of RPDR. Despite his experience, he is determined not to let fame go to his head and become like Cristal Connors in Live Untucked.

“When I first moved here at 20 years old, I was 10 years younger than the next person, and it was a bit tough being the new kid,” Derrick shared with Us. “Since then, I’ve made a conscious effort to uplift and support anyone younger than me, rather than bring them down due to insecurities.”

Generational contrasts are highlighted in the initial episodes of Live Untucked, where Coco, aged 49, sparks a discussion about the perceived masculinity of the color blue. This leads to playful banter among different generations, with Coco clarifying that it's all in good fun.

Lawrence, the winner of Drag Race UK season 2 and host of House of Laughs on WOW Presents Plus, shared how well she gets along with Coco. They have a crazy and twisted sense of humor that everyone appreciates. Lawrence feels grateful for the connection with the cast members, as their chemistry shines through in the show.

The queens on Live! may not know each other well at first, but being in close quarters backstage helps them bond quickly. Bosco shared, "I have a fun tradition called my chardonnay stretch. Instead of stretching, I enjoy a glass of chardonnay and it really gets me pumped up and in the mood."

While the queens may have varying ways of getting ready for a night in the spotlight, they all seem to be in unanimous agreement about one thing: choreographer Jamal Sims is undeniably attractive.

Coco joked that being handsome does help, but even if he wasn't the most attractive man, his personality is what really shines. His charm and ability to keep you focused on the task make him extremely attractive. As movers, not dancers, he knows how to bring out the best in us, and I wouldn't enjoy the show as much if it wasn't directed by him and RuPaul. He's truly amazing.

RuPaul's Drag Race Live Untucked will premiere on WOW Presents Plus on Wednesday, April 17. The show will feature Latrice Royale, Coco Montrese, Kennedy Davenport, Lawrence Chaney, and Derrick Barry back in Vegas for RuPaul's Drag Race Live, starting the week of April 15.
