Behind the Scenes of Ariana Madix, Stassi Schroeder, and Katie Maloney's Reunion at Something About Her Grand Opening (Exclusive)

The opening of Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s Something About Her restaurant was attended by many Bravo personalities, such as Andy Cohen and Stassi Schroeder.

Maloney, 37, shared with We at the soft opening of the Los Angeles sandwich shop that it was a really enjoyable event. She mentioned how Cohen, 55, and Schroeder, 35, hadn't seen each other in years, so it was a pleasant surprise for both of them.

Maloney mentioned that it was really special to have close friends like Cohen, Schroeder, and Lindsay Hubbard show up to the opening of Something About Her. She even referred to it as a "mini Bravocon." Lisa Vanderpump was not present at the event, but she mentioned that she was still supporting them from a distance.

When asked about her friends' thoughts on the sandwiches at Something About Her, Maloney shared that they loved it. She mentioned that Andy had talked about the sandwiches on his radio show and expressed his preference for chicken salad without cranberries.

Madix mentioned that the Bravo boss is known for being straightforward about his preferences. Maloney then shared that they have received criticism, but they found it enjoyable.

Madix and Maloney do not let negative comments bother them. In fact, they decided to turn the negativity into something humorous. They joked about adding a sandwich named "Your Words" to the menu so that the critics could literally eat their own words.

Madix and Maloney are determined to keep improving the restaurant despite any doubters. They are committed to doing their best and making it even better over time.

The process of opening their establishment was a challenging one for Madix and Maloney. They encountered obstacles such as permit issues, which were highlighted on Vanderpump Rules.

"We’re trying to focus on the things that we can control and then the powers that be with the things that we can’t control. We’re just rolling with the punches,” Madix told Us in October 2023 while Maloney added, “That’s the thing is that every time we turn around there’s something else.”

Despite the setbacks, the twosome were dedicated to their vision. “Everything’s going to speak for itself,” Maloney told Us.

Something About Her officially opens on Wednesday, May 22.
