Becky G and fiancé Sebastian Lletget’s relationship was tested by infidelity, but the couple has come out of the scandal even stronger. According to a source in the latest issue of We, the engaged pair never completely broke up after Lletget’s reported cheating made news earlier this year. "They were in a really bad place, and she ignored him for a few days, but that’s all," the insider revealed.
Reportedly, Becky G, 26, has been spending time in Dallas with her partner whenever she had a break from tour, and they're officially back together. This news about the couple's relationship comes around a month after they were seen together at a Los Angeles farmers market, sparking rumors of a reconciliation.
Becky G and Lletget, 31, started dating in June 2016 after being introduced by mutual friends. They got engaged last year after six years together, but their relationship encountered difficulties in March when Lletget allegedly confessed to cheating on the "Shower" singer.
"I deeply regret a lapse in judgment that resulted in an extortion plot over the last few weeks," the soccer player expressed in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. This comes after an Instagram user claimed to have video, audio, and text evidence of Lletget being unfaithful to Becky G with another woman at a Madrid club in 2022.
Lletget added, "The aftermath of this situation has turned into a public spectacle on social media, filled with more lies than truth and false posts aimed at the love of my life. I should never take her for granted or put her at risk."

Lletget referred to the incident as a "wake-up call," stating, "I can't continue avoiding my problems. I realize that any decisions that brought us to this point were wrong from the start. Pushing the boundaries that should never be crossed only causes pain for myself and the people I care about the most."
He also acknowledged that he had only been partly involved in therapy and expressed his intention to fully engage in a "mental wellness program." He finished his extensive message by apologizing to Becky G.
“To Becky, you have illuminated my life, being my source of strength and always showering me with unconditional love,” he penned. “Instead of cherishing that love every day, I have acted in the opposite manner, causing you pain and showing disrespect to the one person I hold dear above all else. I am deeply sorry and understand that I must now do whatever it takes to regain the trust and love that you rightfully deserve.”
