Unlike most games that experience a sharp decline after launch, Baldur's Gate 3 has continued to thrive, further solidifying its remarkable success.

Following its Thursday launch on August 3, Baldur's Gate 3 witnessed a continuous increase in its concurrent player count until Sunday, August 6. On that day, it reached a staggering peak of 814,666 players, propelling Baldur's Gate 3 to the 9th position overall on Steam's leaderboard. It surpassed Goose Goose Duck but was positioned below Hogwarts Legacy, which is set to release in 2023.
