Numerous participants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have shared intriguing details about their experiences on the ABC dating series, particularly when it comes to the overnight dates. Hannah Brown, in particular, garnered attention when she disclosed that she had been intimate with one of her last four suitors during the fantasy suite dates.
"I've had sex and you know what? Jesus still loves me. It's pretty clear that you're uncomfortable with me being intimate in a windmill, and that's okay. But the fact is, I had sex in a windmill. And you know what? We did it a second time!" Hannah asserted to Luke Parker during season 15. Kaitlyn Bristowe, who faced criticism for having sex with a contestant before the overnight dates, wasted no time in defending Hannah.

Numerous participants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have revealed intriguing information about their experiences on the ABC dating show in the past – particularly with regards to the overnight dates.
Hannah Brown grabbed attention when she disclosed that she had intercourse with one of her final four contestants while on the fantasy suite dates.
“I have had intercourse. And honestly, even after what I did, Jesus still loves me. From the way you reacted to me having sex in a windmill, you probably want to leave,” Hannah informed Luke Parker during season 15. “I had sex in a windmill. And you know what? We did it a second time!”
Kaitlyn Bristowe, who was criticized for her pre-overnight dates intimacy, was swift to support Hannah.
“Women have the right to choose when to have sex, whether it’s before marriage or not. It’s all about personal choice,” tweeted the season 11 Bachelorette. “Intimacy can be a significant factor in choosing a life partner. Why is that so difficult to comprehend?”

Theresa Nist
Theresa made a bold statement about her openness to intimacy when she arrived at The Golden Bachelor premiere in September 2023 wearing nothing but her birthday suit. And her connection with Gerry Turner was solidified during their overnight date, ultimately leading to their engagement in the November 2023 finale.
“He’s not going to tell you exactly what happened in the fantasy suite, I’ll tell you,” she declared during the finale. “I knocked his boots off.”

Zach Shallcross
The season 27 star initially declared that he didn’t want to engage in sexual activity with anyone on the show, but eventually had sex with Gabi Elnicki. He then informed fellow contestant Kaity Biggar.
“We both mutually agreed to have sex,” he stated during a March 2023 episode. “It was a significant and necessary moment for our relationship. I feel awful because I have broken my promise and I am concerned about how Kaity and Ariel [Frenkel] would feel. I am weighed down by guilt about the entire situation now.”
After Kaity confirmed to Gabi that she knew about the rose ceremony, the senior account executive became upset. “I feel like I'm wearing an 'A' on my chest," she said. "F—king scarlet letter over here."

Sean Lowe
The Season 17 lead explicitly stated his decision not to engage in sex on the show after years of celibacy leading up to the 2013 season. In a 2014 interview, he revealed the media frenzy that resulted in labeling him as the "Virgin Bachelor" after confirming that he had lost his virginity in his 20s but had chosen to stop having sex for religious reasons.
In 2014, Sean married his final choice, Catherine Giudici, and together they have welcomed three children.

Colton Underwood
Colton opened up about his virginity when he made his debut on season 14 of The Bachelorette. Later, as the star of season 23 of The Bachelor, he developed feelings for Cassie Randolph — and alluded to the events of their overnight date in his book, The First Time.
He brushed off the reader's questions about his relationship with Cassie, suggesting they were physically involved. He hinted that they were heading towards intimacy but then said they "weren't ready." Colton also mentioned spending the night with finalist Tayshia Adams, saying he slept in sweatpants.
Tayshia expressed her discomfort with the perception of her as a figure of pity on "Bachelor Happy Hour" in 2021. She emphasized that there were other women who were trying to form a meaningful connection with Colton, as well. She also refuted the claim that Colton slept in sweats and a sweatshirt on a particular night. Following his breakup with Cassie, who had filed a temporary restraining order against him that was later dropped, Colton publicly came out as gay.

Clayton Echard
During season 26, Clayton confessed to Susie Evans that he had sex with his other two finalists — Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia.
"Yes, I have been intimate with another person here. And, I have also developed feelings for someone else, possibly even falling in love," he disclosed, later mentioning that it was with "both" women.

Hannah Brown
The Bachelorette openly confessed to having been intimate during season 15. When Hannah made her surprising statement about a windmill encounter in a preview for an upcoming episode, fans assumed that she was referring to frontrunner Jed Wyatt. However, after the episode aired in July 2019, it was revealed that she had actually been intimate with Peter Weber.
Following Peter's dismissal in the finale, Hannah disclosed that she and Peter had not engaged in sexual activities twice in the windmill. "It actually happened four times," she confessed, while his parents proudly applauded from the audience.
In her 2021 book, God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life’s Best (and Worst) Moments, Hannah described her encounter with the pilot as "intimate and fun," stating, "We made a promise to keep it between us, as we wanted it to be genuine and not for the cameras, show, or fans."
Admitting to never having slept with anyone so quickly in a relationship before, the Alabama native felt guilty about her fantasy suite night with Peter, the morning after. In her 2021 memoir, she also revealed that the intimacy with her former fiancé Jed was not as good as it was with Peter and that she lied to spare his ego.
The Bachelor season 23 alum added, “He also asked me if his thing was bigger than Peter’s. Why do guys always ask that? ‘I don’t even remember.’ I told him."

Matt James
During an interview with WSJ magazine, the season 25 Bachelor revealed that he did not engage in intimate relations with his top three contestants - Rachael Kirkconnell, Michelle Young, and Bri Springs - throughout the 2021 season. He stated in May, "I can’t speak for anybody but myself, but I think the women appreciated it. Because I did learn things about them that I hadn’t gathered - that I don’t think I would have learned if I hadn’t used that time to really dive deeper into something that they might not have been comfortable talking about on camera."

Peter Weber
The pilot confessed to being romantically involved with one of his last three contestants - either Victoria Fuller or Hannah Ann Sluss - following Madison Prewett's statement to Peter that she would not be able to accept a proposal if he had been intimate with someone in the fantasy suite.
Peter honestly admitted to Madison on a February 2020 episode that he had been intimate with someone, despite her revealing that she was a virgin. He expressed his strong connection with her but also acknowledged that he had similar feelings for other contestants. Then, in an April 2020 interview on the “Almost Famous” podcast, Peter confessed that if Madison had been more direct about her virginity, he likely would not have been intimate with anyone in the fantasy suite, as it would have carried more weight for him in the moment.

Rachel Lindsay
Two years after her season of The Bachelorette concluded, Lindsay disclosed that she had been intimate with "two out of three" of her final men. She got engaged to Bryan Abasolo at the end of the show, with Peter Kraus and Eric Bigger also being finalists. "I was very honest with Bryan. But he knows, I was very honest in the beginning, and we weren't together technically, right?" she said in August 2019. "It doesn't count until you put a ring on it!"

Nick Viall
Nick found himself entangled in controversies related to his personal life during his appearances on The Bachelorette. Initially, the host of the "Viall Files" podcast disclosed that he had a physical relationship with Andi Dorfman during season 10.
Nick confronted Andi during the 2014 After the Final Rose special, asking why she had made love with him if she wasn't in love with him. One year later, he returned for season 11 and had sexual relations with Kaitlyn Bristowe before the fantasy suite dates, though she ultimately chose Shawn Booth.

Andi Dorfman
In her 2016 book, It’s Not Okay, the former attorney responded to Nick’s shocking confession by describing their sexual encounter as “cringe-worthy” and “lady boner-killing.” She also alleged that he inquired whether she wanted to “make love or f--k” during their intimate moment.
"This is sex, damn it...kiss me, love on me, and if you can’t talk without making a fool of yourself, then stay silent," Andi expressed.
In the book, Andi later revealed that she was enraged by their After the Final Rose confrontation. "This guy! Really? You want to confirm to the world what they probably already know, which is that two consenting adults who had been dating for seven weeks spent the night together without cameras and, surprise, had sex?" she wrote. "Every part of me wanted to go all Georgia girl crazy on his ass and fire back with some snarky response like, 'Oh really? Is that what you’re calling it now, because I’m pretty sure you called it 'f—king' when you were on top of me.'"

Kaitlyn Bristowe
“The off-camera time I had with Nick was so great, but I'm definitely feeling guilt,” Kaitlyn admitted after sleeping with Nick during week 6 of season 11.
At the end, the ex-dance instructor ended her relationship with Nick during the finale and said yes to a proposal from Shawn. However, after Kaitlyn and Shawn called off their engagement in 2018, the personal trainer confessed that his ex's connection with Nick had been weighing on him. "I struggled a lot on the show. It was a constant struggle between my emotions and logic," Shawn shared on the "Almost Famous" podcast in 2019. "I believe the whole situation with Nick played a significant role in our relationship."

Raven Gates
In season 21 of The Bachelor, Raven suggested that Nick was responsible for her first orgasm during the fantasy suite dates. However, a year later, she stated on “The Morning Toast” podcast that she never actually slept with Nick on the show.
Before walking into the finale, Raven admitted that she stopped Chris Harrison to express her reluctance. She jokingly mentioned her hope that her non-disclosure agreement with ABC was over. In January 2019, the owner of Shop Grey Suede shared more intimate details after meeting her now-husband Adam Gottschalk on Bachelor in Paradise season 4.
"When I appeared on [Bachelor in Paradise], he would lead me into the ocean and whisper inappropriate things to me," Raven informed Kaitlyn during her "Off the Vine" podcast. "We then entered the fantasy suite and he definitely delivered. That's when I became quite confident."

Courtney Robertson
In her 2014 memoir, I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends, Courtney revealed that she had sleep with Ben Flajnik during season 16 of the show. She admitted that they had sex in the ocean on camera and described the encounter as brief, lasting only about twenty seconds.
Courtney also disclosed that her most satisfying sexual experience was with Arie Luyendyk Jr., whom she dated following her breakup with Ben. She described Arie as an expert kisser, and while their physical chemistry was intense, she expressed a desire for more than just making out. They then had a passionate encounter in her childhood bedroom, which she described as the best sex she had ever experienced. She attributed this to Arie's passionate approach and his ability to use his entire body during lovemaking, as well as his knowledge of what positions make a woman feel comfortable and satisfied.
