Avengers: Secret Wars to Be Split into Two Parts and Run for 5 Hours, Reportedly

Avengers: Secret Wars promises an epic cinematic experience, spanning an astounding 5 hours Divided into two parts, this highly anticipated project will be released in a staggered launch, delivering non-stop action and thrill

Avengers: Secret Wars is rumored to be an enormous five-hour project that will be divided into two parts and released in a staggered manner.

The future of the MCU is currently uncertain due to the recent firing of Kang actor Jonathan Majors, who was set to play the next major villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after being found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

As a result, fans are curious about the future of the MCU, especially with the introduction of Kang as the next major villain in Loki season 2 and Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania. Insider Jeff Sneider revealed that the next Avengers film is reportedly shaping up to be "a giant five-hour movie with a year-long intermission," according to one source.

Disney has not yet confirmed this, but it seems to echo the approach taken with Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Those two films were shot consecutively and released almost a year apart, effectively one large movie split in two.

The specific villains that this new group of Avengers will face in the films remains uncertain. There are rumors of Tobey Maguire and other actors returning, raising the possibility that Marvel may reintroduce a previous villain to take on the role of Kang.

Sneider also expressed his belief that Marvel has had contingency plans in place for some time, despite their silence. He had previously mentioned on The Hot Mic podcast that he co-hosts with John Rocha that Marvel was looking for a writer, later revealed to be Michael Waldron, and a director to handle a two-part Secret Wars movie as the conclusion of the Avengers Saga, rather than the previously speculated title of The Kang Dynasty.

As an enthusiastic fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I am thrilled by the news that Avengers: Secret Wars will be a massive five-hour epic divided into two parts. The prospect of an extended cinematic experience filled with non-stop action and thrilling moments is incredibly exciting. The idea of a year-long intermission between the two parts adds an intriguing element of anticipation and suspense to the overall narrative.

However, the recent firing of Kang actor Jonathan Majors due to assault allegations raises concerns about the future of the MCU. Kang was poised to be the next major villain, and his absence leaves a significant void in the upcoming storylines. I trust that Marvel Studios has contingency plans in place to address this challenge, but it remains to be seen how they will navigate this unexpected turn of events.
