Crystal Palace got the deal done to take defender Holding for £4m.
Mikel Arteta made Holding available for transfer as he did not play this season. Several clubs, including Luton and Sevilla, showed interest in the 27-year-old defender, who previously made 162 appearances in his seven seasons with the Gunners.

Tavares joins Forest on loan
Nottingham Forest reached a deal with Arsenal to sign left-back Tavares on an initial loan move.Forest's loan fee amounts to £1m, offering them the option to secure the permanent deal for £12m. This player, who still has two years remaining on his Arsenal contract, expressed his joy in joining Forest, a renowned club that has claimed two European Cups.

Luton completed a Deadline Day loan move for Gunners midfielder Lokonga, who has been linked with Brighton and Burnley this transfer window.
In attendance at Kenilworth Road, he witnessed his new team's defeat of 2-1 against West Ham.
Lokonga, who did not accompany the Arsenal squad on their pre-season tour of the US, had previously spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at Crystal Palace. During his time with the Eagles, he made nine appearances, contributing to their successful Premier League survival.
